When my 6-year-old was 1, I became reacquainted with cubes, again; thence, twisty puzzles in general. I played with burr puzzles 45 years ago at Dutch Pantry restaurants, because they had them. :-) This is quite wonderful to practice, and show a new generation something that is simply...well...fun. Thank you for the videos!
I did this cube yesterday. I almost cried, but I did it. Now watchibg this tutorial will be easier to solve it again. Thanks superantoniovivaldi for your videos.
I was finding tutorial for ghost cube 3x3x3 because I bought it some days ago . but I could not find good ones , and found this at the bottom by scrolling . It really helped and I am totally thankful to you .
Can anyone help me? This old dude was given a similar looking puzzle (but white stickers on black) for Christmas. After mixing it up, I dropped it two days later and two pieces popped off. I have no idea which of the two spots each should go back into nor what the orientation should be?
I got to the third layer and then for some reason it showed only one was in the correct place, so I’m going to mix it all up and then redo it and see if I can get it
Let me just start by saying I like Rubik's cubes too and I like your video. It was very insightful regarding both the new mass-produced version of the cube and how to solve it. Thank you very much. But I am bored and freedom of speech so... @3:38 I don't think false equivocation is what you meant. Nor is false equivocation term at all. I think you meant to say false equivalence. My bad for being a stickler. Again, great video : )
OH! So solving "a side" on this isn't solving a FLAT side, but what would be a corner on a regular cube puzzle. MIND BLOWN!! That has greatly helped me wrap my head around this thing. Thanks. :DIncidentally, CAN one "side" be solved flat?
This seems like an impossible occurrence, but it seems as if 2 centers (one across from the other, look the same also) have been "switched"? an edge seems to go for only one of the centers, so I tried switching out the edge for one that looks like it to test my theory and nothing seems to be going well for me. haha, help?
+SuperAntoniovivaldi After looking up pictures of the cube's sides I found out that everything was upside down... so I was looking at all the centers rightside-up haha. Great tutorial, last layer to go (:
I do it pretty much at the same time as placing the middle edge. Sometimes I have to reorient the centers only after I realize how the middle edge fits on the center. You could always just memorize the middle orientation, but that's if you want to decrease your solve time. I prefer to just take my time and figure it out as I'm doing it.
erm 'anyone can solve a side' i have many hours of experience watching people managing not to solve even the begginning cross, so i'd like to argue with that claim, and main point: where would i go about getting, say, a 5x5 version of this? i see many 3x3s on amazon and HKnow, but a distinct lack of 5x5s, google seems to prefer showing me regular 5x5s and 3x3 ghosts
Nope. Equivocal is defined as "open to more than one interpretation; ambiguous," so a false equivocation is when a piece is wrongly used as another piece thinking they are the same. Equivocate has nothing to do with dodging or avoiding, but means to use ambiguous language to conceal the truth. Equivocation is when an ambiguous term is used in more than one sense and is thus misleading. When it comes to puzzle pieces, two that look alike are ambiguous and can mislead you by using them in the same spot. So the fallacy of false equivalence is when two opposing arguments appear to be logically equivalent. In regards to puzzle pieces, it is when two different pieces also appear to be equivalent and are not.
Please show physical photos of each of the algorithms of each layer and how to solve them with ease…. It’s important because I accidentally scrambled by Ghost Cube and NO ONE is revealing the “SECRET” algorithm…. It’s apparently a secret that’s kept from rookies like me….

I'm always getting lost at the 2nd layer, pls help!
Slimatron Any pictures of your dilemma?
I'm just bad at matching the pieces in the 2nd layer, any website that could help?
Slimatron same
Slimatron wow 2 years
me too i cant do it and im really mad!!
Tutorial starts at 9:00
Thanks

Whenever you're not so sure which algorithm to use, try: turn turn turn and turn, turn turn and down.
can you plz do another vid of second layer i cant understand

Awesome puzzle
I’m lost at the second layer lol
Perfect explanation,
Understandable English teaching accent. Bravo
Nice video man. Keep it up! I got mine today and it is very loose. How do you tighten it up? It is black with white stickers. Thanks.

the best possible tutorial ! thanks
whenever I try and put a piece in on the 2nd layer using the algorithm one of the centers always gets moved what is this?
plz tell me what to do if the centre pieces came out and placed wrong side

How do you know when middle layer centers are in good position?
Cyber Potato you need to know which piece comes where before solving it
is the mass produced version the one that costs $40??
+apoguita Yea
you can get them for $18 now... I found out right after I bought one for $40..
+Maestro of Metal is that so? care to share the link?
good discription.
just bought 2x2 and 3x3 ghost cubes yesterday, but they will not get to my house for another month (july 15ish)
thanks so much this video really helped me!
Do you orient the middle centers right away or do you do that after solving the first layer?
I do it pretty much at the same time as placing the middle edge. Sometimes I have to reorient the centers only after I realize how the middle edge fits on the center. You could always just memorize the middle orientation, but that's if you want to decrease your solve time. I prefer to just take my time and figure it out as I'm doing it.
i solve the centers by how they match up with the solved layer, do you recommend this?
As long as it works, there's no wrong way to do it :)
What is the second algorithm edge of right..
Can you put a link where you can buy it?
Just get it on Amazon
Mefferts.com is cheaper than amazon's it's the real creators but it may take a lot longer for it to ship
your the best you helpet me
I solved 1 side and I feel like a genius
erm 'anyone can solve a side' i have many hours of experience watching people managing not to solve even the begginning cross, so i'd like to argue with that claim, and main point: where would i go about getting, say, a 5x5 version of this? i see many 3x3s on amazon and HKnow, but a distinct lack of 5x5s, google seems to prefer showing me regular 5x5s and 3x3 ghosts
The higher order ones are custom made. pm me and I'll tell you how to where to get them.
Equivocal is not equivalent to equivalent. Equivocate means to dodge or avoid. Equivalence is a class of similar things.
Nope. Equivocal is defined as "open to more than one interpretation; ambiguous," so a false equivocation is when a piece is wrongly used as another piece thinking they are the same. Equivocate has nothing to do with dodging or avoiding, but means to use ambiguous language to conceal the truth.
