REDVELVET was the most popular, but their recent cbs arent doing well, so I think they aren't in their prime anymore. SNSD have also lost their relevance but I put them as 2nd because they were the best in that KPOP gen, while for 3rd gen, It was BlackPink, Twice and then Redvelvet.🤷

But I remember watching so many posts in insta and fb that are saying 'NJ is gonna replace the golden trio of Kpop: BTS, Blackpink and Twice'. Idk is it right or wrong. hybe groups are literally all so popular. lsf being ranked at the second last of the list but you still hear “anti ti ti ti ti fragile fragile” everywhere. that’s crazy. the list isn’t wrong though, that’s just how crazy famous hybe groups now. fromis need better promotion though, some people don’t even know they’re in hybe. all of the above group got fair promotions.
and i’m pretty sure exo ranks higher. even when they’re not active. they’re top tier still. this ranking is just from the group that sm promotes most to least tho. ofc exo doesn’t rank high, sm did mostly nothing for exo. and they’re an older group, sm promotes the newest group most now. so if aespa got hoobaes, they’re going to defeat nct and aespa in the ranking because of how much promotion they’re gonna get.
