To me, even if it’s a ‘perfect collector set,’ it can’t be another Eevee Heroes as far as availability. Stores started emptying in the US around Sept/Oct 2020, and scalping was brutal through early 2021. Eevee heroes dropped at a perfect time when English collectors were fed up from 6-9 months of no product, and turned to JPN. But, evolving skies was available under retail by Christmas 2021 and eventually things smoothed through 2022. English collectors don’t ’have to’ turn to JPN boxes for affordability now; just a completely different landscape.
I'd love to collect some terastelised eeveelutions. I missed out during the evolving skies pack and this might be a second chance for me to get some cool eevee cards in my binder.
I definitely think it’s worth another video in itself. It is such an odd feeling when you get that ‘big pull’ was it bc you really liked that card or was it bc of the value behind it? 😣
Some interesting thoughts around this. I for one am not a fan of the Terrastal Pokemon cards, often they are very shiny but bland, kind of like the regular VMAX cards from SW/SH. If these new Eeveelution cards are going to compete against the Evolving Skies alt arts for popularity there has to be more going on with the card art, not just a Pokemon with a chandelier on its head and thats it. Give us those Pokemon with an interesting artistic setting in the background. I think it will sell well either way but I am hoping there will be more appeal to these Terrastal cards, because at the moment i am not that impressed with them.
I think it will just be ARs for the Eeveelutions since they already printed all of them. I don’t know where people are getting that it’s all Eevee ex Teras. I don’t think we’ve seen more than a couple of new v or ex in a high class set but who knows now since sales are down
this seems a lot more plausible, there have been a lot of eeveelution uncommons that have been incredible, could’ve been special arts as is, so IR renditions of each in this set seems very realistic
