Hi Richard, thank you for your videos, most enjoyable. Lima stock is very good . I have a few locomotives and rolling stock both of which are more than acceptable. Kind regards John
The lima deltic model looks ok to me, nothing wrong stands out when viewed normally! Why worry if it is a "mm" short or narrow as they both run on 16.5mm track so are running on "narrow gauge" track anyway, if it looks good, enjoy!
Hi richard Hope you are well and enjoying the heatwave? It great see old model runs seem to run very well and smoothly too. I have a question What make are them 4 or 6 wheeled teak coaches in the station.? Sorry to bother you Keep safe arp
Hi Adi, the 4 wheel coaches are the old Ratio kits. I bought them half built - they had already been half-painted in GWR colours, so I repainted them in teak to make them look more LNER like.
Is this on DCC? They run very nicely for ringfields. Great layout too. Speaking of heatwaves we had 45 deg for a couple of days in Pert last summer. But I reckon you guys copped it much worse because our humidity was near zero and absolutely everything in our lives is set up for heat including our constitutions.
All the older diesels run on analogue . I do have the ability to switch between analogue and digital but only use it on a handful of sound fitted more recent locos, including a couple of Hornby Railroad TTS diesels. It's cooled down quite a bit where I am now, but getting more humid, so still a bit uncomfortable. I'm not complaining but my garden is like a desert!
@@richardhiggins6471 Thanks for the reply. I have a couple of older ringfield locos in a bottom drawer. Inspired by your video I'll dcc them and see how they go. Our garden actually is a desert and planted as such. More and more succulents.

I rate Lima very highly, if you are on a budget they cost you next to nothing to maintain. They run so beautifully, I've got heaps of them.
