Happy 3rd Anniversary Rich! 🎉🎉🎉 Another great adventure. Sad and yet so memorable. RIP to the victims and families. 🙏🏼That plane is definitely massive. You do such a great job covering interesting stories and yes - politicians - all talk. I refer to them as puppets.😂 Have a wonderful weekend! 👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼😎
Hello Rich! This significant journey is marked by both sorrow and lasting memories. My condolences to the victims and their families. The aircraft is undoubtedly enormous. Thank you for sharing 💕🌹
Never heard this story before. Everything went wrong on that B-52D that day it seems. Losing one engine or even two and the aircraft could usually be saved. But it seems like it lost more then two and probably had some other issues. Based on the amount of fuel left onboad when it crashed the crew didn't have enough time to dump fuel before landing, so the aircraft was heavy. So sad. As an aside, the B-52D at the memorial park was built in 1956 (56-687) and actually served at McCoy AFB before being tranfered to Fort Worth. It was retired in 1984 from active service. Well done on the video.
Happy 3 year TH-camiversary! That is a great milestone. This is a tragic story. It is a shame the local government didn't want to honor those who perished in the accident here. Such a sad life changing day for those they left behind. Thanks for telling their story.
We visited this park in a vlog back in January (found it as we were driving past) and we stopped and visited, but we never knew there was such a tragic story behind why this plane is here. How sad. If we're in the area again, I'd like to re-visit and do a video on the plane like you did. Great video, fantastically done. I know a B-24 crashed in Melbourne during WW2, there's no plane at the site, but there is a memorial field.
I thought I remembered you being here before. That had to be such a gigantic explosion. I can’t believe no 50th remembrance… how hard could that have been????
Thanks rich been living here since 1985 and never knew that happened. Is it down by that road that was dirt For many years until they paved it and it connects to 436.
My Uncle, Lt Col George Gamache, was the Navigator on that plane.
Wow…thank you so much for commenting. I hope I honored their memory 🇺🇸
That is soooooo cool. LIKE 5. 👍👍👍

Thanks for joining me on my 3 year anniversary and it’s such a tragedy. It’s the worst aviation disaster in Orlando.
Sad story of some very little known Orlando history. Congrats on the 3 years.
I appreciate it!
Interesting to see the park, sad to hear the tragic story.
Thanks for watching

I was shocked as well!
I saw this crash as it was happening I didn't see the impact but I Saw it coming in very low from my house near 436 and Hoffner.
Wow that is something! Thank you so much for commenting. I actually grew up off Hoffner Road myself.
The park looks really nice! Its been 3 years? Time flies by fast! My 5 year of posting consisently on TH-cam is coming up on Aug 17, 2024!
Yeah it’s been a grind 😊
Where the action was?😳

Yes it’s real close to there!
@RoadiewithRich Now that you got me looking into this. One also crashed in downtown Orlando at Paramore and Livingston street.
@mrbob8618 wow didn’t know that
