He already has an ITA from the OINP International Student job offer stream (score 85), and he is in the process of completing his application documents to submit within the 14-day deadline. But what concerns me is the timeline for the nomination which may not happen before his permit expires! That is why we are looking for any other possible option. 18monthd validity of Lmia is from the date if issue. Worker arrives only once the work permit is issued and validity is as per the work permit for 2-3 years

Once you have an approved Lmia, you may be able to claim points in Express Entry, if the NOC is TEER 0,1,2,3
