thank you for this tutorial. im a complete beginner at knitting, i haven't even knitted anything besides a headband because knitting seems so confusing to me. but your tutorial was so easy to follow, i dare to say it was the first time that i saw a knitting video and understood at first. thank you so so much, as soon as i get new yarn im going to give it a try!!
I just finished mine! Easiest tutorial ever. Thank you for taking the time to show/explain Italian tubular cast on as well as the bind off- I didn’t have to go to another video to learn it 😅
I was just searching for some sweaters to knit. I mostly crochet but have been knitting sinse 9 years old and haven't done it in forever and ive always wanted to make a sweater and i think I have found the perfect one!!! I cannot wait to make this once I get the yarn and needles. Thank you for such an understandable and fun pattern
I love this pattern! It’s very pretty! Is it possible to make it in other sizes though? Can you alternate the number of stitches you start with while making it look right?
Just want to let you know that I've added a listing to my Etsy shop just now. If you want to check it out, please go ahead at: www.etsy.com/ca/listing/1573164596/ 🥰🥰🥰
Hi this is beautiful pattern!!! I'd love to make this but having trouble with the Italian Tubular cast on because I'm a newbie, could I use long tail cast on method for this pattern??? Thank you!
This pattern so far has been amazing to follow! I’m currently on the body section, and I was just wondering, when you say to keep knitting until you reach 11 inches, is that accounting for the neck section as well (so including the 4 inches) or is the 11 inches only body section? I just want to get a general idea of the measurements for the one you specifically show at the end so that I can adjust it if need be. Thank you so much for this amazing tutorial/pattern! 🫶🏼
hi! i was wondering how you decrease in the end of round 1 2:28 then knit round 3 with [4 stitches in a row] and still got all the stitches done, like it at it should be a number that divisible by two. i hope you understand and reply soon 🥲
Hi 👋🏻 In the setup rows, i haven’t decrease any stitches.. if this part confuses you, i suggest cast on using a long tail cast on method and do a 2x2rib pattern :))
thank you for the tutorial!! for the body section, when you say to use two circular needles, do you mean combine two chords to make a 32 inch cord? I currently have the work on 16 inch circular needles, and am knitting as usual without magic loop (for the body). I am new to knitting, and am confused as what transferring the work to longer needles+magic loop would do?
For medium and large sizes, you can actually purchase from my Etsy or Ravelry store. 💗 If you prefer not to purchase, you can make a gauge with your yarn, measure your bust, and determine how many stitches you need for your size. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Ok. I wear medium sized shirts so my bust would be 36 inchs and the waist is 33 inchs. 128 stitches…. So I need to do like 132 or 136 stitches for the medium. Give or take maybe more.
when are we supposed to use the 4.5mm needles? i thought that instruction would be given starting the body but now i dont see it anywhere. i bought them especially for this project 🥺
Switch to a 4.5mm circular needle when working on the bottom hem! :) Other than that, you will be working with 5mm needle mostly 🥰I mentioned it both in the video (7:33) and in the knitting pattern, so feel free to check them out if you missed it 💗
In the video, I used two circular needles because there weren't enough stitches for my existing needles to accommodate. Therefore, I opted for two circular needles. However, I recommend using either an 8” long circular needle or the magic loop technique :) Hope this is helpful! 😊💗
@@keikeistitchesthankyouu thanku so much for answering!! never heard of this alternative before so was a bit confused. im planning to try this with a thinner yarn!!
Yes! 🙌🏻 you can adjust it to fit your size. Begin by creating a gauge of 4 x 4 with your yarn and measure how many stitches you need for 4 inches. Then, based on this measurement, you can calculate how many stitches you need for your size, and there you go! 🥰 And also if you want it to be longer, you can simply knit more to achieve a longer version.
@keikeica thank you!! I'm so sorry tho I didn't get the notif. Is there any way that you can make a tutorial or do you have a tutorial on how to do this? It's sort of confusing for me
Hi! Im here to ask how many balls of yarn you used for this project! Its such a pretty top that im planning to order yarn for this but idk how much i need🥲
If I understood correctly, you'll be using the same knitting needle with a size of 5mm, and for the body, you'll be working on the stockinette stitch (knit only) 😊
For sizes other than XS, I have included multiple size options in the knitting pattern, which is available for purchase on my Etsy or Ravelry. If you prefer to use a different yarn or have a different gauge, please make a gauge swatch and use that to calculate the number of stitches needed for your chest measurement.🥰🥰

Definitely! You can adjust the number of stitches to fit your bust size perfectly :)))
Heyyy, love this, what is the colour way of the yarn you use? X
I believe it was Setting Sun, Sirdar Jewelspin :)
Wow very beautiful top. I was wondering do you have this tutorial on crochet ?
Sorry I don’t 🥲
Any word on this pattern being available in your Etsy shop yet? I'm very eager to get it! Thank you. It's absolute inspiration. :)
Oh thank you! 😁❣ I'll try to finish it ASAP :)

Of course! You can use whatever cast on method that’s comfortable for you:)
Hey thank u for the tutorial I have a question tho Why did you cast 15 stitch after finishing the shoulder
I have added 15 new stitches to have more room for the bust. 💗

So, the body section will be 11 inches, and the body hem will be 2 inches, making the total length of the work 13 inches. :)
Hope it helps!
pleaseeee, make the longsleeve version🥹🥹
Ill try!! ♥️

If you’re using 16-inch circular needles, no need to worry :) I used the longer ones, so I had to use two circular needles instead ☺️
how did you join the round? 4:55
Its hard to explain in words… 🥲 I recommend watching other TH-cam tutorial on how to join in the rounds ☺️💗 thank youu
What about the measurements for medium and large for the project?

How do i do this if the wire of my needle is too long? 🥹
Hi~ you can either use magic loop method or use two same circular needles :)

can i use soft indophil yarn? because the yarn u used is a bit expensive for me hehe
I guess you can use any yarn as long as the gauge is the same, but the measurements might be different from what I have. ☺️ good luck!
Hi! Im here to ask how many balls of yarn you used for this project! Its such a pretty top that im planning to order yarn for this but idk how much i need🥲
I used only one ball of yarn 😊! More info here 0:10 🙌🏻🙌🏻
what stitch do we do for the body ?? im new to knitting

How would you adjust this for girls with bigger chests? 🙌
For sizes other than XS, I have included multiple size options in the knitting pattern, which is available for purchase on my Etsy or Ravelry. If you prefer to use a different yarn or have a different gauge, please make a gauge swatch and use that to calculate the number of stitches needed for your chest measurement.🥰🥰

how much is the ring on your finger? 😮
it was gifted :)
What size does the final garment come out to be?
0:15 Size is XS with bust size of 28-30" inches / waist of 22-24" inches :)
I use 1mm yarn and size 3.25 needle, how many stitches should I make?
Hmmm i am not sure🤔 First, make a gauge swatch 4x4 and try to calculate the bust that I wrote in the video and see if that works…?
@@keikeistitches Thank you, I will try it soon🥰
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤
can i make this without using two circular needles? please let me know
Hello! 👋🏻 You can use either the magic method or circular needle that are 16 inches long. ☺️
