The 'Chip and Joanna Gaines' of the skies! Nice to see how well you two work together! And great editing and camerawork! Subscribed! Keep the videos coming...
I am a new subscriber to your channel but found your commentary very interesting, It is nice to watch pilots fly who are ATC. You guys do a phenomenal job directing air traffic and should be commended for ensuring the safety for everyone in the air. I noticed your co-pilot did not seem like a rookie in handling the mike! Great job!
Enjoying these videos . I trained in , and flew a Ryan Navion . Brings back some great memories . Also flew an American Yankee , Cessna 140, 150, 172 , Piper J-3 , 140 , Comanche , Stearman PT-17 and an AT-6 . Your living the dream buddy ! Beautiful twin Cessna . Glad you are enjoying the videos! You've flown some really fun planes. Of those, I have flown a Navion, 150, 172, J-3, 140 and Comanche. I've been very lucky and have also been able to fly in an F16, P51 and pitts. :) Now I just cruise around in my old 310 and couldn't be happier.
310 Pilot This weekend in NJ I want to get a ride in a P-51 . Stick time allowed too ! There will be an air show on September 4th . A P-51 , B-17 , 24 and 25 are making there rounds . Glad you liked the video Greg...really means a lot. I'm excited to be able to share my aviation experiences with others as you've been doing for years. Thank you for all you've done to help promote GA. I know you fly around the area a bit, if I get a chance to work you at Chicago TRACON I'll say hello (and give you direct of course)!
Great Videos. Stumbled on to your channel the other night after watching Premier 1 Driver. I'm a pilot wanna be and enjoy your talk and banter in the cockpit. You two are great together. Keep them coming. Very fun and educational.
Glad you stumbled onto us and you are enjoying our videos! P1D puts out some great videos. He flies into our airspace from time to time but I've yet to control him. One day. :)
Its nice to see controllers also be pilots/comm help, Thank you for all you do to make ATC awesome and to help promote GA!!! Keep the videos coming please!! I really enjoyed knowing that if you are VFR to IMC you can just ask as easy as that to stay legal. many GA think its bad to ask for help, you made it look like it was another day in the air. Thank you!!
Thank you Ryan! Not all controllers have the same level of understanding of GA but we are all here to help. I'm glad you liked the video and I will stay at it. Happy to show how easy getting a pop-up IFR can be. Over time I should get better with the editing and cameras. Let me know what you think as they keep coming.
Binge watching your videos this Saturday, and came across this at 12:02. My house is in the upper right hand quadrant of the frame. Thanks for that view from the top, its been awhile since I've seen it.
What I like about this video is the fantastic decision making. Even with an instrument rating, one can get themselves into a compromising position when weather doesn't cooperate. Sometimes it's best to just turn around and call it a day. Superb video and analysis of the situation.
I love your 310... You make it look easy... I hope VFR pilots think twice about flying in marginal VFR conditions... BTW, young lady, you are drop-dead beautiful... Thanks for your videos... C-90 pilot...
Kevin, I am not a pilot and in fact probably not a calm flyer in my older age, but your cool head take no chances approach (pun intended) is really cool and calming. You guys are great. I can't tell you why you two are so fun to watch, but y'all are!
Way Coool!! enjoyed the ride along very much....you two rock the skies....Aurora is a great little airport, and I love the area. Its neat you're both controllers...you gave a nice insight into that aspect of tasks associated with flying...I subscribed, looking forward to that trip to the bahamas, or the lakefront...
Thank you Jim! Really glad these are turning out okay. Aurora is amazing. Small town feel, nice people, a control tower, crossing runways for wind issues, lots of instrument approaches, great hangars, etc. I'm looking forward to the Bahamas trip too! Haven't picked the exact date but we have lots of cool flights planned this year.
Great video. I came across this by accident but stopped long enough to enjoy the full story, thank you. If I may say so, you are a lucky man! Your good lady has a voice that is gorgeous - she’ll knock out kneecaps at 700 feet! Congratulations to you both. Here in the UK, different rules apply but it is always interesting to me to see how much more open things appear to be in the US. You have far more uncontrolled airspace than we do and the pilot/controller relationship seems a lot more open and productive. Thank you again for an interesting video. The 310 is a wonderful aeroplane. I have subscribed. All the best to you both. Lee
Thank you Lee! I agree, I am a lucky man!! She enjoyed your kind words. I've watched a few videos about flying in the UK and it does seem very different. I hope the US can keep our sky's the same they are now. The freedom we have up there is great! One day I hope to cross the pond in the 310 and check it out first hand.
Hey Guts, I enjoy your videos, and I am also from Chicago and the northwest suburbs. Fly safe. I am new to your channel so will be waiting for more videos. Fly safe. Bob
Gotta love beautiful Chicago land weather...... you guys work good together & 4 eyes make things a lot easier in that airspace, and like you said any day you can get air born is a GOOD day, too bad Meigs isn't still open, touch & go's were fun on the lakeshore. great vid.
Thank you Kelly. About this time every year I'm pretty sick of winter! She's a big help to have with! I agree about Meigs. I never had a chance to land there but if it was still open I would do it regularly. It would give me a good reason to go downtown.
Loved this video. Been cornered by weather myself. Didn't have the option of a pop-up IFR clearance...no instrument rating (yet) and in a J3 Cub. Had to land in the boonies until the weather cleared out enough to move on. Videos like this help motivate me to get my Instrument rating. Love listening to your radio skills working in the atc system. I think it will help improve mine. Keep up the great work!
Thank you and glad you liked it! Having an instrument rating definitely gives you more options with flying safely. Good luck with you if you ever decide to go and get it. It's a fun rating. Thanks for watching.
You guys make a great team. Your plan for the day was loose and you were willing to make safe changes to the plan as was warranted. And for your fiancee to not be a pilot, she sure has some great decision making skills. You guys are what GA flying is all about. And hey, invite me to your wedding!
Just noticed that your 310 is booted. Very cool! My Aztec was, although I had to have them reconditioned when I first got it. I think that was about $4K as I recall...maybe slightly less. Then I replaced the prop boots myself, which was pretty straightforward. Great piece of mind though, living in Wisconsin--or Illinois in your case.
Thanks Tom! Aztec's I hear are great in the ice...not that anyone wants to be in it. My boots are original but surprisingly in good shape. I just strip and re-seal myself once a year. They work well but haven't been in ice yet. I got full de-ice for mid-west winters but try to avoid it at all cost. The props just got overhauled last year and I had them replace all the heat boots on them during that. As you said, great piece of mind just in case.
I wouldn't know how good they are in ice, to be honest. I did everything I could to stay out of it. I flew in Alaska for a year and we were in ice in the old turbine Beech 18 aircraft we flew up there--not fun. Great piece of mind for you guys though, because (in theory) you should be able to get yourself out of what you've gotten yourself into. Great that you strip and re-seal them yourself every year. I'm also an A&P and in the 8-9 years I owned the Aztec, I spent 10x as much as time working on it as I did flying it. Otherwise a normal person just can't afford to keep the thing in the air--the expense of operating an aircraft seems to start at outrageous, and increases as the square of the number of engines. Yeeouch!
You have a great channel, excellent camera views and you two are a great team. I took a few lessons in a 152 years ago but couldn't afford to continue. My next best option was Flight Simulator X, lol. I flew the 310 many times and it is definitely a sweet plane. Not as sweet as yours but good enough for me. Keep up the great work, thanks for sharing and be safe.
Thank you! I'm glad you are enjoying the channel. Thank you for the compliment on the 310. I've spent the past year getting her to this point....she's pretty close to how I want her. Lot's more planned for the year.
Thanks Andrew! I have a friend that lives close to 3CK. I plan to go in there and pick him up one day but so far have only controlled planes into there. Is winter almost over for us yet?!
It's an old one but... "There are old pilots, there are bold pilots, but there are no old, bold pilots." Good call as things turned into poop. Your professionalism is awesome.
Excellent video. Your yaw dampener seems to do a little fishtailing or hunting L/R... It may need to be serviced. And my pet peeve is to always land on centerline!
Thank you Robert! I've always thought the YD was on the money. I'll look closer next time. It may have been video related? At times I like to give the other parts of the runway love too. The center line gets all the glory. :) I do better on the St Louis flight. I'll try harder.
Nice video guys. I’m from the area as well. Just recently passed my ATSA test for ATC. Patiently waiting now... in the mean time I’m thinking of going to get my private license so I stumbled across your video!
Your programme is not only seen in US but all over the Globe. All viewers see it for different reasons.I see it to know more about the country. So please do let us know more about the places you are flying over.Otherwise it is a great show.Jaime is just stunning and so are you.
Enjoy the work you both put into producing these videos and the commentary. Sorry you missed the $100+ burger at Pilot Pete’s; love that place and was there just yesterday. 😉👍🏻🙂
New subscriber here. Enjoyed the flight. For a while there, I thought your fiancée was a pilot, because she was so proficient on the radio. But then, when you stated that both of you are ATC controllers, it made sense. To bad the weather turned you around, but nice flight, anyway. I’m not a pilot, but I worked at an FBO in Houston, back in the early 1960’s. I was on the linecrew. Plus, I took some flying lessons before being drafted into the Army in ‘66. Got about 20 hours in. I’ve been an aviation fan ever since, but never continued my flight training after my stint in the Army. Even if I was younger, I couldn’t afford it now. Happy and safe flying, and looking forward to more videos.
Thank you for watching/subscribing Richard. More importantly, thank you for your service! I was in the Air Force myself. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'll keep posting new ones. I have a St Louis Arch tour that I will post soon.
Outstanding call to get the popup IFR clearance! That V-Tail bonanza was homing in but ATC gave a heads up. I love being under the control of IFR just for that reason alone. Excellent call as well to do the climb and then get permission afterwards. Sometimes the situation requires action before permission.
Thank you! As a controller/pilot, I completely agree with you. There are times when safety comes first...in this case a climb and then tell ATC when you get a chance. I usually am IFR most places I go as well. That V-tail did have my number... it was a lot closer out the window than the camera gives justice. Glad ATC gave the call and I upgraded to on-board traffic that displayed it well. I like to think I have a good visual scan but I'll take all the additional help I can get.
Thank's for watching our videos! I'll let Jaime know, she usually reads all the comments so she's probably already read this. Really glad ya'll are enjoying it. :)
Great video. In the 310, I usually use 18 inches when level... Then at glide slope intercept, I'll drop first notch of flaps and then gear. Helps counteract pitch up. If you ever need an IPC or BFR, let me know. I've got twin Cessna time in just about all of them up to and including the Cessna Conquest.
Thank you Thomas! I usually strive for about the same. 18-19 inches and then one dot high first notch of flaps and gear. I agree about that canceling out the pitch and provides for a nice stable approach. In this case I got distracted with the traffic and had to add power and climb 600 ft high and was a little late on the turn in bound. I wasn't quick enough getting the power out being high and that resulted in the late slowing/less than my normal stable approach. If I was IMC (probably wouldn't be climbing to miss traffic) I would have just asked for vectors back around. What area are you in if I ever take you up on your IPC/BFR offer? One can never get too much training.
oh yeah, I totally knew you were having fun especially when that v tail was buzzing settings LOL! I'm based out of Lansing KIGQ... I also do a bunch of stuff out of KGYY.
310 Pilot maybe make a Sunday breakfast run to lone rock sometime, it’s a great flight with some really nice scenery around there. Approx 101 nautical miles, it’s a perfect short flight for the 310, lol. Also, I loved the road sodas in this video.
Great video. Excellent narration. I like her sense of humor. A little jarring to see her having a beer though. Very surprising. (Unless it was a joke.) She seems like a cool customer.
Thank you! If I was going to fly a single, the Mooney would for sure be my choice. Super fast and efficient. Give us a shout out if you hear us on the freq!
Not a lot of active 310 channels out there, so hope to see more videos in the future! I fly out of Clow so had to smile when you were by Lewis, as some days there are so many targets on the G1000 between there and Morris it's hard to figure out which way to go.
Thanks for watching! I haven't ran into many 310 channels either. I'm glad to be able to share my love for aviation. I call the triangle between LOT, Morris and ARR the triangle of death. :) Lot's of VFR's not talking to anybody! I think LOT could use a tower.
Just Subscribed.....Absolutely LOVED the vid. How cool to have 2 controllers flying together (and engaged!) I've watched 1000's of aviation videos over the years and MUST admit .......This is the first time I saw a "normal" person have a beer on a flight! (I know this DOES happen) Fly up to KUES.........Lunch is on me! For a minute there I thought that was a Green Bay hat.......Then I saw the red for the Bulldogs.
Thank you!! This is our first year owning but we've been flying together for a few years now. Looking forward to the many years to come. I'll let you know if we make it up to UES. I get the Green Bay thing a lot around here. Symbols are pretty close. I'm a Bulldog/Falcons fan all the way.
Living in Philly, all I could think of is the "Fog Bowl" game with "Da Bears" in regards to your weather today. You might be too young to remember that game. Thanks for the ride along.
Thank you! After years of watching your and Steveo's videos I finally decided to grab a couple gopro's and share my aviation experiences with others. Thanks for the inspiration and all you've done helping promote GA!
You guys are fun to fly with. Hopefully you can share the Chicago skyline in a future video. Nice job putting the video together. Looking forward to your next flight !
Thank you Alan! I will get the skyline flight in soon for sure. I'm happy with how this turned out and will keep working to make them better. Lot's of flying and videos planned for this year.
You mentioned Cirrus. They make those planes in Duluth Minnesota. They are quite the "attraction" because of the at parachute option their planes have. I see their jets flying every now and then where I live enroute to KDLH where they land for maintenance etc. Very interesting plane to say the least. However, I am not a fan of the design. Parachute is cool though.
Just found your channel today with this video. I really enjoyed the video and the way you two interact during the flight. Subscribed and looking forward to more videos.
Will do! For sure planning southern IL for the next eclipse. The plane was in the shop for upgrades during the last one. Ya'll should get another good show of it.
I'm glad you liked it Brant! She is much better than me on the camera. Better looking and funny. :) You don't have any family down in Georgia do you? We share the same last name.
Ha ha. Glad you liked it and thank you for subscribing. We have a lot of fun trips planned for the year after I get the plane back from her annual inspection.
I really enjoy your videos! I can't pilot myself due to hearing loss but I love to fly. My uncle let me fly his Cessna 172 (I think that was the model) just a little bit when I was younger. That was the only time I ever rode in the front seat. I really miss flying in the small planes.
Glad you're enjoying the videos Jim and sorry about your hearing loss! Glad we can take you up. That's cool you got to fly in a 172 with your uncle. A lot of people have never been on a small plane and don't know what they are missing.
Just stumbled on your video when I searched IFR. Well done, you got a winner in the right seat. Had to laugh when you kept grabbing the mic before her and she said, guess you just not going to let me do it, hilarious. Either way great to have a controller flying GA. As a new IFR rated pilot I really appreciate how ATC watches out for us little guys. Really nice 310 and like that you have a new G5. That is my next investment on top of my 750 and STEC55X. Gotta keep those IFR skills sharp. Look forward to future videos, fly safe.
Thank you Gary! Being IFR rated helps tremendously improve the usefulness of a plane. Congrats on your new rating! I'd love a 55X...I'm trying to decide what new autopilot is in my future...they ain't cheap. What kind of plane do you have? I have about 1500+ hours of flying by myself so giving up the mike isn't natural...I'll get better or be in trouble. :) The G5 is such a cheap huge safety improvement...I love it.
Thanks for the reply. Yea I have done a lot of cross country VFR. Been stuck several times do to weather. I only have about 500 hours and have a 77' C172 with the 180 Air Planes conversion. Helps at my altitude. As for the AP. Yea the 55X is great BUT I wished I had waited just a little longer because as soon as I had it installed Garmin came out with theirs and right after that TruTrack got certified. Both significantly cheaper. Either way having the AP as a single pilot IFR is truly helpful. As for you and your co-pilot keep up the great work at ATC. Trying to convince my 28 year old son that a carrier as ATC would be a good path. Will see. Fly safe.
Great flight! I love your background music, it's very catchy, lol. Rough weather but it keeps you alert! Kevin, are you and Jamie controllers at the same facility? Just curious, she makes an awsome copilot! See you guys next time. Say hi to Jamie.
Probably taking the rv6 up to the Chicago area this summer. Will be tied down I’m Morris/C09 for a few days I’m thinking. Little different than this Texas and Florida costal flying.
Most of my hours are flying without autopilots. I enjoy hand-flying. Glad you like the videos! Maybe one day I'll get a rock solid autopilot that I will use in cruise at times but I'll be hand-flying the departure and arrival segments.
Thank you for responding and I want to share this with you that flying IFR in a single engine aircraft in actual weather condition isn't safe especially at night so that's way I prefer that flying with a Muti engine aircraft like yours and with the avionics that I see in which you shared with me made me satisfied with your response sir. Hopefully one day You get a IFR clearance to do some GPS approaches which I like to see because I'll be working to finish up my rating soon . Muti engine training isn't cheap anymore like it was years ago so enjoy the moment and I'm looking forward to see more to come as you said in 2018 . Thanks
The reason I got a 310 instead of a single is multi-fold but near the top of the list is the added redundancy (safety) that twins provide during IMC, night, over-water, etc. I have a flight planned tomorrow and even though it will be SKC I'll file IFR and get the clearance and fly the full route with a GPS approach or two. I'll try to get that up as soon as I can. You are correct, multi-training isn't cheap anymore. I did mine about 18-19 years ago in a Seneca I. Wasn't too bad then. Good luck on your Multi!
If you find yourself, at random times during the day, saying 771 Bravo Charlie or hearing Jaime saying it in your head... Go ahead and like right here! 😁
The Cirrus aircraft can be sent back to the factory to have the chute system redone (reset ?) . Toured the factory in Duluth and talked to them about this. It would be up to your insurance company of course. The straps for the chute system are hidden under a thin layer of fiberglass cloth on the outside of the fuselage that gets ripped away during chute deployment. Cool safety system in the Cirrus that has saved many lives.
Thanks for correcting me Eric and thanks for watching! I didn't know you could send them back. I thought it was a one shot deal. I agree, it is a great safety system when used correctly.
Nice vid.. I love the CRM, cockpit audio and the though process along the flight.... Keep them coming.. Oh and I like the "Front Door" The Good Place reference by your friend...
Thanks RDU! I'll try to keep them coming. I have the cameras now and love flying so might as well. I will get this editing thing figured out. I think I've improved a little bit since the last one.
Thanks Brent! I like to do that so everyone on the plane on the same page with expectations. I also think it makes the video a little better to watch so the viewers know what I'm thinking/doing.
310 Pilot you are welcome. When I was an active pilot I liked to bring the passengers up to speed so there was no surprises (hey I can dream can’t I?). By the way I have enjoyed flying with a friend in his 310. I have logged a few undocumented hours in that and a baron. You might call me my buddy’s organic auto pilot. Haha
Wow, that's really saying something Karl! I haven't flown near that many...probably 20-30 different types if I had to guess. She is my favorite for the mission though! Thanks for watching and the comment.
I enjoy your videos more then I should, trying to figure out why, then I read the previous message to you from James Wikstom, yup he got it right, that is why I enjoy your videos, just exactly what he said thx and keep them coming!
310 Pilot I was at DSM for 6 years and I’ve spent the last 4 here at MIC. Crystal airport in Minneapolis. Currently trying to get to GRB which is where my wife is from.
Nice 310 and I always keep your jepp charts on hand and a hand held radio in case you loose all communications like your ForeFlight did but would you have filed a IFR flight plan to be safe during your decision to go back or seeing or avoiding other traffic? Great ATC communication with the Controller. Flight following is the best safe tool that we Pilots use on every opportunity and for me it's worth it and you both did a great job as controllers and Muti -Engine Pilots in a Beautiful Cessna ., keep it real and happy flying
Thank you Bernard. I agree and do keep backups handy. In addition to the ForeFlight, I have the 530W and 430 plus the Garmin G5. No one in an emergency situation has ever said they have too many options! When I'm cruising, I file IFR about 99% of the time. Being that this was a local flight flown in the airspace that I control at, I knew the areas and altitudes to get an easy pop-up IFR if needed. If someone isn't sure then I would concur it can be easier having an IFR in the system if needed to be activated in a hurry. Have a bunch of flights planned for 2018, I'll keep them coming.
Kevin a 40 year Fayette County resident.. Do you ever fly in to PTC Falcon Field anymore.. Never persued getting lessons but being a retired Delta Mech have gotten fly many of the Delta sims... Daughter owns a great restaurant and also the Bar next door of you ever have a couple hours in PTC...Keep up the great work with the Videos, I have enjoyed all I have seen...Jeff Lord
Glad you found us and are enjoying the videos Alan! It is just a song I found on youtube's copyright free selection. I'll look up the name and post it.
The 'Chip and Joanna Gaines' of the skies! Nice to see how well you two work together! And great editing and camerawork! Subscribed! Keep the videos coming...

Great Video, wonderful couple. Thank you for sharing this event. both of you are a joy watching.
Thank you Mark!! Just posted our trip down to St Louis. Still new to the sharing our journey part. Hopefully it turns out okay.
Kevin, I am not a pilot and in fact probably not a calm flyer in my older age, but your cool head take no chances approach (pun intended) is really cool and calming. You guys are great. I can't tell you why you two are so fun to watch, but y'all are!
Thank you for the nice compliment. I try to be very safety conscious. :) Glad you are enjoying the videos!
310 Pilot I saw in one of your comments where you are a former Air Force guy. 21 years AF here. Was a cop. Love your videos. Keep them coming!!
Thanks for your service Darce! I did ATC in the AF...stationed in beautiful Eglin. :) Thanks for watching!

Glad you're digging them!

Hey guys, please excuse any typos. Thanks. Bob
Thanks Bob...glad you are enjoying it! We have several neat flights planned for the year. Working on editing the next one right now.
Nice flight all in all. I love your fridge options - all silver bullets.
Thank you! I'm pretty easy with beer. :)
First time viewer , enjoyed your flight, ahhhh the silver bullet , the high life. Thank you.
Glad you liked it Bill and thanks for stopping by! I guess we don't have fancy refined palates. :)
You guys make a great team. Your plan for the day was loose and you were willing to make safe changes to the plan as was warranted. And for your fiancee to not be a pilot, she sure has some great decision making skills. You guys are what GA flying is all about. And hey, invite me to your wedding!
Thanks Thomas!! Your words really mean a lot to us. We'll see about the wedding as we are still fine tuning the details. :)
Love it! Thanks for the flight around the area. Definitely looking forward to your next flying adventure.
Thank you Reuben. Just finished a quick flight down to St Louis to fly by the arch. I will try to get that up soon.
Awesome video. Very cool to see some GA footage around Chicago. I'm use to being a little bit further north though at 3CK
Thanks Andrew! I have a friend that lives close to 3CK. I plan to go in there and pick him up one day but so far have only controlled planes into there. Is winter almost over for us yet?!
310 Pilot haha it's even worse since I've been flying at eastern michigan😂
It's an old one but... "There are old pilots, there are bold pilots, but there are no old, bold pilots." Good call as things turned into poop. Your professionalism is awesome.
Thank you Richard!! I like to think I'm a fairly conservative pilot. I want to be here for the long haul!
Student pilot working on my PPL at DPA. Love the channel so far. Keep ‘em coming!
Thank you Kenny! Congrats on getting into flying. The rest of your life will be spent with your head in the clouds.
Enjoy your flight. First time watching your channel & video. Your Co-Pilot is not only very smart and beautiful at the same time. Great job guys!
Thanks for watching! She is everything you said and more. I'm a lucky guy!
I like your style. Cool calm and collected. Good radio communication. You make a good team.
Thanks Phil! We do make a great team!
Nice video guys. I’m from the area as well. Just recently passed my ATSA test for ATC. Patiently waiting now... in the mean time I’m thinking of going to get my private license so I stumbled across your video!
Thanks for watching! Good luck on your future ATC career!
Your programme is not only seen in US but all over the Globe. All viewers see it for different reasons.I see it to know more about the country. So please do let us know more about the places you are flying over.Otherwise it is a great show.Jaime is just stunning and so are you.
Very exciting to watch,, good call on the return home. You guys make a great team...
Thanks Mike! Never pushing the wx is always a good idea in aviation.
Nice plane guys and co pilot first time watching you and here's to more thanks for bringing us along cheers
Thank you Paul! We just flew down to St Louis for the arch tour...I'll try to get that up in the next few days.
Enjoy the work you both put into producing these videos and the commentary. Sorry you missed the $100+ burger at Pilot Pete’s; love that place and was there just yesterday. 😉👍🏻🙂
We ended up making it there in a later video. :) Glad you are enjoying the videos and thanks for the comment!
Thanks for another informative video, My wife and I really enjoy watching you guys.
Please let your other half know she was missed.
oopps, posted on wrong video...but thanks for this one too :)
Small world. I bought this plane from a guy that based it at IGQ. I'll will hit you up sometime maybe.
Sounds good! any time. www.flytj.com - tjohnson@flytj.com
Pilot Pete’s is great, love the atmosphere. The pot roast dinner is excellent. Mike @ the landings.
I agree Mike, maybe we'll see you around one of these days.
310 Pilot maybe make a Sunday breakfast run to lone rock sometime, it’s a great flight with some really nice scenery around there. Approx 101 nautical miles, it’s a perfect short flight for the 310, lol. Also, I loved the road sodas in this video.
Another fun video, really enjoy watching, keep them coming. Mike, @ the landings
Thanks Mike! We have some really cool ones from the Bahamas coming up when I can get to editing them.
Great video. Excellent narration. I like her sense of humor. A little jarring to see her having a beer though. Very surprising. (Unless it was a joke.) She seems like a cool customer.
Thank you! She does have a great sense of humor, as you saw. She's a jokester.
Cool video, I hanger my old Mooney down the road from you in Racine, maybe I'll see you around sometime. Nice 310!
Thank you! If I was going to fly a single, the Mooney would for sure be my choice. Super fast and efficient. Give us a shout out if you hear us on the freq!
Great pilot and a great team!1 Super!
Thank you Richard!!
I stopped flying for med and watch to remember. You are my favorite channel.
Thank you Edward! I'm glad you like it!! Sorry you had to stop but glad to help you remember.
Thanks again. I watch your videos at random and enjoy all of them.
Awesome...glad you're enjoying them. :)
Lots of learning moments for me here, watching your vids. Thanks for posting!
You're welcome...thanks for watching Buck!
Living in Philly, all I could think of is the "Fog Bowl" game with "Da Bears" in regards to your weather today. You might be too young to remember that game. Thanks for the ride along.
Thanks for watching! I grew up in Georgia and am a Falcon's fan...never really followed da Bears. I'm still hurting from 2 super bowls ago!
Sweet 310!
Thank you! After years of watching your and Steveo's videos I finally decided to grab a couple gopro's and share my aviation experiences with others. Thanks for the inspiration and all you've done helping promote GA!
310 Pilot absolutely! Thanks for sharing!
Subscribed! Loved the format
Thank you for watching and subscribing Ken! We make a good team. We just went down by the St Louis arch the other day. I'll get it up soon!
Let me know if you ever find yourself around KRSV in southern Illinois. It's pretty close to where I live.
Will do! For sure planning southern IL for the next eclipse. The plane was in the shop for upgrades during the last one. Ya'll should get another good show of it.
Q
Oh BTW love the hanger with the nice floor and best of all the couch and stocked fridge.
I agree and thank you! That hangar is way nicer than I thought we'd end up with when we were looking to buy.
That was a cool video. She's good TV. Sitting up in the seat so the plane goes under you - good stuff!
I'm glad you liked it Brant! She is much better than me on the camera. Better looking and funny. :) You don't have any family down in Georgia do you? We share the same last name.
3.. although the Instrument ticket gives you perhaps a few more.. thanks for the flight. You both make a great team
Thank you for watching Robert! My copilot is the best!
The clouds are trippy! Love that Jaime gave us a great heads up.
Beautiful plane. You should fly up to Milwaukee sometime, there's a great restaurant across from the FBO at KMKE.
Thank you Brandon. We are always looking for new airports/restaurants. We will check out your recommendation.
Thanks for the ride! Lookin' forward to that lake-shore tour.
Glad you liked it. Here's the lake-shore tour. :)
th-cam.com/video/oZJd-NIMHyU/w-d-xo.html
First video of yours i've watched and now a subscriber, you had me at the Coors ;) Great job!
@@310Pilot I am a locomotive engineer. Always wanted to fly though.
Congrats Bulldogs, 2022 National Champs. Terrific game.
Excellent video all around, Subbed. Thought that was a Packer hat for a second, so happy it wasn't. Bear Down!
Thank you Daniel! I'm the opposite of a Packer fan :) I'm a Falcon's guy!
Probably taking the rv6 up to the Chicago area this summer. Will be tied down I’m Morris/C09 for a few days I’m thinking. Little different than this Texas and Florida costal flying.
Nice teamwork. This is motivation to work on getting my IFR. Subscribed!
Thanks for watching and subscribing! The instrument rating was the most rewarding to me! Good luck!
I watch a few different Pilots videos and you seem to handy fly a lot more than most. Kinda neat to see :)
Love your videos, I live in the area as well. I think Pilot Pete's is just ok; I certainly would not waste the fuel to fly there from Aurora.
Glad you're enjoying them Bob! We like it there but have only flown there twice I think. We are more into flying to the local breakfast places. :)
Editing is the toughest part... I too have improved.. The more you do and introduce transitions, PiP, etc.. you will be a pro at no time..
I'm coming up there to stand in awe of that panel!!
Glad you like it! It's a work in progress.
Great video and good dialog in the cockpit to say what you were thinking.
Haha
That's awesome. Best of both worlds...ATC and Pilot. That must make for interesting dinner discussions...lol
Thank you Tim. Glad you like it. Knowing each does help with the other!
actually, that was an interesting video.. but, of course,, now i'm curious about the time you stopped but not for a bathroom run LOL
😄...
Love the videos and the awesome fill-in background music. More of that please if you can. Keep living the dream you guys and keep sharing !
Thanks for the feedback David...glad you are enjoying it!
Love the videos brings me back to when I rode in the jump seat on CrJ 200s former comair mech
Glad to take you back Kevin...thanks!
Ok. i'm new to your channel also. Like the way you two work as a team! Great vids!
Glad you found our channel and are enjoying the videos!
You should take a trip around Lake Michigan to Mackinaw Island.
Just found your channel and enjoyed the video. Schaumburg resident here and also like Pilot Pete’s at 06C.
A local guy that understands how good Pilot Pete's is! Glad you liked the video.
I've flown over 200 different plane types and the 310s are right up there near the top of my favorite list.
Wow, that's really saying something Karl! I haven't flown near that many...probably 20-30 different types if I had to guess. She is my favorite for the mission though! Thanks for watching and the comment.
I can't wait to see more from you guys!
Thanks Aaron! Finishing up the next video now.
I enjoy your videos more then I should, trying to figure out why, then I read the previous message to you from James Wikstom, yup he got it right, that is why I enjoy your videos, just exactly what he said thx and keep them coming!
Great video Kevin! Pays to have a couple controllers on board! Hope all is well!!
Thanks Curt! Things are well! How have you been? Where are you at now?
Show Jaime a video of the Cirrus shout deploy. It's pretty cool to watch the testing vids.
After this flight I did. :)
Beautiful plane, beautiful lady, flying to Chicago for dinner on the lakefront... oh brother blessed art thou...
Thank you for the kind words. I'm a Georgia boy that lives up here in the area for work.
Jeff, it's been 18 years or so since I last flew into Falcon...need to get back down one of these days. :)
Now I see how you can afford an airplane... Happy for you both... You have earned it and deserve it... C-90 Pilot
I just stumbled onto your channel and really like your videos. Idk any about flying! This may seem like a dumb question. But what is BOB?
Just joined your channel. Super great videos. Could you tell me what the theme song you guys play in the front and back of your videos. Thanks!!
Glad you found us and are enjoying the videos Alan! It is just a song I found on youtube's copyright free selection. I'll look up the name and post it.
310 pilot that’s impressive that’s impressive plane!!
Wwell add another channel to the list of places my free time is going. Love that she's a controller as well, i head down to OKC next week to start
Congrats on the new job Connor! ATC is a small world...may see each other some time.
Connor Isnard hey my dream is to be an air traffic controller. Can you give me some tips on what I can do to get ready and what degrees do you have?
Ever thinking of making a flight over Mackinaw Bridge in Michigan?
We've done that trip before I started filming. We will have to do it again on camera. It is a fun flight. :)
Sou super fã do canal de vocês. Parabéns. Aqui é do Brasil.
