honestly, control mode is the closest thing apex has had to being titanfall 3, and it’s great. i’ve only played about an hour, but it was one of the most enjoyable hours of apex, or any game, that i’ve spent in a while. great vid, keep it up

Actually you can catch up as long as the other team's not 50 points ahead halos the only one where you score by having at least two if someone has 48 points and you can score twice as fast as them you can hit 100 and they'll only hit 98 if you hold two points you don't have to hold three I love you cap But your math is off LOL

I guess I should clarify, I don’t mean it’s *literally* impossible, just VERY unlikely. The only way to catch up when your team is falling behind, and losing teammates, is very difficult and it’s the reason people leave. I have played 20 or so matches of this mode and never seen a team catch up once they’re behind by ~25% or more.
Again, not because it’s actually impossible, but because of how the scoring and spawning works it makes it near impossible, especially with how half your team leaves once you start losing. I think changing the scoring to the way I describe would mostly fix that issue and give the losing team a chance without really changing the game mode much at all.
