@@tomatimahl I don't think either is going to win anyone the game. The winner will consistently make wise choices and not lose money to stupid choices. Dont waste your money on inconsequential baby steps yet dont overextend yourself and work yourself into a corner where you dont have any cash when you need it. It isnt so much about the productions or crop types as it is about the choices you make. Consistently finding the most bang for your buck. IMHO Daggerwin excels at making entertaining videos. But Chainsaw makes the better choices in gameplay. Doesn't mean he will automatically win this, but if I were a betting man....
Nice new tractors, you will need a few to get this farm rocking when the harvests start coming. Hopefully with headland passes the workers will behave too . You've still got a fairly big wish list too with combine ,silo , baler and planter still required. But it's looking good so far 😀👍
does spraying immediately after planting completely stop weeds, I've always sprayed when they pop up, if anyone has an answer i might have to change my tactics. Thanks in advance :)

I thought using herbicide came with a slight yield penalty. And if you are just going to spray before the first growth stage why not use a weeder instead?
maybe space to time by that its quicker with the sprayer and its range VS what cheap weeder hed buy but yeah im team weeder to save on cost of chemicals
Sprayer will kill all the weeds. A weeder will only kill the small weeds leaving the medium behind. You can get around this weeding directly after seeding but is much better left to a worker to cover it all. The only other option is a hoe which is more expensive and doesnt regularly show up in the sale, especially not often as base game only has 1 hoe and i believe (dont quote me) is $45,000. Big expense so early.
@@SebastianLong Since Chainsaw is applying directly after seeding the weeder would prevent all weeds. And yes a sprayer does give more coverage per dollar (at least in the smaller equipment) but if memory serves me right (which sometimes it does not lol) spraying weeds also "damages" crops resulting in slightly less yield. I think there was a vid done by Farmer Cop on how to get 100% yield that talked about this but I may be mistaken.

A large field like that you would probably lose the equivalent in paying a worker as you would lose with yield in herbicide.
I don't know about having to hire a worker to get full coverage. I always thought there was a slight difference in appearance between weeded and unweeded ground. But it would be nice to see some variety since both parties seem to be using a sprayer for weed control. The other up side to a weeder over a sprayer is reduced running costs in the long run and the series is still fairly young so it could make a difference. Plus I think there is a base game weeder that has just about the same coverage as that sprayer that I am fairly sure that the Case tractor can pull if it has the engine upgrade (honestly can't remember if Chainsaw bought that upgrade or not).
Neither of them have figured out since the prices are negligible to have 2 flower greenhouses bc the pallets can be lifted by hand making loading faster. We’ll see who adjusts first
Small tractors have their place, they are actually better for many jobs. They take less fuel, cost less money and the maintenance isnt as bad. Better 2 small tractors that can perform the intended jobs than a single big one. That said, you dont want to waste money by small upgrades that really gain you nothing.
The sawmill decision has won you this series already... smart move, well played.

Rule was changed to limit 1 of each. Hence why there's not 2 flower greenhouses. They can have more greenhouses, but only 1 of each NML greenhouses.
