What a powerful song. It's been playing on repeat in my mind. There are many lines that are so meaningful -- for example, how you capture what it can feel like to not FEEL it all the time.... As someone who deals with anxiety and depression and other things, it's taken me decades to realize that, at least for me, that's just part of my mortal experience. It's easy to believe when I can FEEL but sometimes I don't. That to me is when the rubber meets the road. What I have discovered is that God finds ways to show up in ways I can understand in His time and way. There is so much grace. But the waiting times are when I can show Him that "I'm here to stay."

What a powerful song! I need this now more then ever I’m struggling and it’s been hard with being the only single adult(31-46) in my family ward The last Sunday of March I was crying in my car before sacrament meeting wondering why I come to church when I feel so alone and judged for being single by other ward members. This song has given me the hope and knowing why I still come to church on Sundays and that everything will be ok.
Oh my friend, I walk the same path and it has only gotten harder as I've gotten older. There are times when the thing I feared most was the pity of others. One of the ways I've learned to deal with it is to think more about myself. How I feel about myself and what I've done and less what others might think. So beautiful. I have this as part of an intense spiritual warfare that lasted 12 years and 4 months when God declared victory. So many of Shawn's have totally moved me. GOD is always faithful. I know. I have lived this. God has given Shawna an amazing gift. I will always praise for her.

Conlon is amazing -- you may or may not have seen that he and his wife faced the death of their 9 month old baby boy just 1 day before he recorded the song, and 2 weeks before we did the film shoot. He said that night, he was singing to his boy. You can watch their interview about that experience. But also, I want to highlight Kailee Kakazu. I asked my producer for the female voice in our area that was powerful enough to carry this song, and he introduced me to Kailee. She is something else. I love her voice - and I love her. These same thoughts have been going through my mind for the last 39 years since our first born son passed away in a similar way at four months. Over the years we have come to understand a part of the purpose for our family needing a gardian angel and a missionary in the spirit world. ❤

Conlon is amazing -- you may or may not have seen that he and his wife faced the death of their 9 month old baby boy just 1 day before he recorded the song, and 2 weeks before we did the film shoot. He said that night, he was singing to his boy. You can watch their interview about that experience. But also, I want to highlight Kailee Kakazu. I asked my producer for the female voice in our area that was powerful enough to carry this song, and he introduced me to Kailee. She is something else. I love her voice - and I love her. Such a beautiful, wonderful, faithful human being. Thank you so much for commenting.
