Good evening, Annette and Tikva. I would have liked to do what ever I would have loved today... but alas, not today. I AM taking time to spend with you in your nursery while dinner is cooking. What a lovely summer dress! Love the colors and treats. Yes, ice cream, for me, is a three or four time a year treat. Pretty clothes. The hair clips are darling. Such a lovely haul. Every time I find a place that is kind of close to where I live, they eventually close down. Now the closest place is an hour a way so I think I can not be thrifting for babies anymore. A testimony! I did not know that cancer was a part of your journey. Praise God for your healing! Thankfully I do not have a baby with long hair, but I am even cautious with clips. I always worry about the hair breaking. She's beautiful! Looks so happy on her pony. Yes!!! Joy surrounds us through Jesus. Hi dear Melanie 🙋🏼♀️💜, Thank you for spending your precious free time with me, I feel honoured.🙏🏻🤗 Yes, there are those days we cannot find and make time for ourselves... And defenitely not for our hobby 😥. I'm sometimes watching video's during the night when I cannot sleep and then I fall asleep again😴. Thriftstores are wonderful; we have one that's very permanent here, it's one from an organization, I think from the gouvernment, to help people to get to work again. The things they sell are not really cheap-cheap, but always cheaper than new. Oh, one hour drive is too far... then it costs you more to come there than it gives some benefit. Yes, I've had ovarian cancer, when our children were young; it's this Summer 19 years ago. It was a very aggressive sort, a Yolk Sac tumor (I didn't hear from that before also...) that had to be treated very aggressive too... I'm still here, and that's defenitely a miracle❗🙌🏻 But I'm sometimes just 'hanging 'in', you know, because I've still many issues as a result of the chemotherapy. But that's okay, I'm thankful I'm still here. Yes, praise God: absolutely❗🙏🏻 I've told the oncologist that I was thankful for his help, for the big surgery he did, and during the treatments, but that my first thankfulness goes out to my Lord. I don't know if he did understand me. All doctor's wisdom is given by God too. Yes, I've to be careful with the clips, the hairs are sometimes stuck in the clip... You can choose between black, brown and blonde hair. And you've to measure the size of her head. I did need the largest size for Tikva, it's her size, but it's a little small in my opinion, Tikva has a large head 😂. Once so Real sells wigs too, April told me.
