  • This is easily some of the most beautiful cinematic animation I've ever seen. I was so blown away.

This finale was a tough one, lots of emotion and sealing the end of the Clone Wars era. Great reaction!

Tbh throughout the whole series they never tried saving Crosshair. But the second Hunter was in danger they swooped in. They even stormed a whole facility to save Gregor.

This is true. It’s possible they didn’t know how until Rex helped them.

I didn't expect to get emotional seeing Kamino get destroyed, but man that scene really hit me outta nowhere. A definitive end of an era.

Early notification squad reporting in ✨
I wonder if Echo ever found out that AZI was the one who came so close to helping Fives stop the end of everything...
You know things are getting big when Tech says "how could I possibly know that?" Lol
    23:59
    "it's a droid"
    *smacks lips*
    wow. wow, ok.
    *stands up and walks away*
Losing Kamino made me more emotional than I expected. It really is the end of the Clone Wars. What makes it worse is that it was the clones themselves who fired upon it-- and you can tell that hurt them, especially from that one clone who reported to Rampart afterwards.

Visions is worth a watch. It’s not going to suck you in like a true canon story line but it’s definitely entertaining. Gives everything a bit of a different spin

I think Crosshair had his chip removed after he got burned because of the fact that he was very willing to kill them before where as now he isn't. I think if his chip was removed earlier he would've joined them, but spending as much time with the Empire as he did and feeling abandoned even though I don't blame them for leaving, Crosshair I think felt more purpose & superior in the Empire being promoted to a commander because before their squad were outcasts, he feels he's doing his duty and he wants his brothers to be with him even if it's with the Empire.

The doctor at the end is most interesting. She's wearing the same outfit as the doctor that was taking care of Grogu. My guess is Nala Se could have been the lead scientist regarding wanting Grogu's blood. Lastly, I believe Cross Hair is lying about getting his inhibitor chip removed. That scar on the side of his head is from the rocket blast. So when Hunter checked the side of his head, he saw that burn and couldn't tell he had the chip removed.

looking forward to this & even before i watch i wanted to say that the scene at the end has been identified as taking place on a planet called Weyland & we're pretty certain that the base is in a place called Mount Tantiss, which is where Palpatine kept a load of random stuff AND cloning tanks in the Timothy Zahn HttE trilogy!! Ahsoka, Ezra, Thrawn, Mt Tantiss, cloning tanks aots... are they really gonna give us a storyline along the lines of HttE? please Dave & John, we've suffered for these past few years, we all deserve it! :D

    Great emotional reaction, as always.
I've gone on about the animation before (but seriously, when they blew out the windows in episode 16, the inrushing water looked just like the real thing), so this time I'll shout out the other non-story aspect that elevated this show - the soundtrack. The Kiners absolutely crushed it throughout the season, and the full version of Omega's theme is an absolutely beautiful piece of work. If you haven't already, I highly recommend checking it out.

I'm just catching up with your Star Wars reactions now after having your page bookmarked for ages! I know you watched this a while back, but I echo your thoughts completely about Attack Of The Clones, and it being by far the worst Star Wars movie; and the clones in them I felt were thrown in as if to say here are the stormtroopers now. And I also agree that Clone Wars saved the clones and the story of the prequels by fleshing out their stories to show that they are the most tragic characters in the franchise, and added layers to Anakin (even if I still struggle to like him), to the downfall of the Republic and Jedi Order, and of course giving us new legendary characters in Ahsoka and Rex. So much so, that seeing those scenes where the halls are all empty in Tipoca City, just as the Jedi Cruisers move in (the ones that in an early Clone Wars episode save Kamino) to destroy the place, aligned with the John Williams music moving into Kevin Kiner's haunting score; is very moving and powerful, and shows that this truly marked the death of the last remnants of the Republic, and that this is now the new order.

I very much resonate with what you're saying about these stories adding depth to the less satisfactory elements of the prequels. Are you reading E.K. Johnston's Padme novels? She makes the handmaidens so compelling.

  • @HOODCHRYMER

I agree and disagree with Attack of the Clones. Me personally I think it gets way to much hate. Yeah the plot wasn’t the best, the dialogue wasn’t the best, however the clones being introduced, I love Kamino and seeing Kamino lost in Bad Batch ruined a lot of Star Wars fans hearts like mine. Attack of the Clones introduced a lot of other things as well. After all that being said, Revenge of the Sith for me is the best Star Wars movie out of all of them and it ain’t even close.

    • @funnylilgalreacts

    • @HOODCHRYMER

@@funnylilgalreacts Yeah we all like and dislike certain movies. That’s why it’s a matter of personal opinion. Watching the Clone Wars and then rewatching Order 66 makes Order 66 ten times emotional! Without Clone Wars there wouldn’t be a lot of things in Star Wars and a big part of that would be no Ashoka.

Tracking on your comment about visions, I saw the series. There are some good episodes in there. It did not blow my mind. And, after only a couple of months, I have trouble remembering anything more than scattered images in my mind. I've seen fanmade films that are more fun, relevant and well made than some of what is in Visions. That being said, it was interesting to see animations inspired by Star Wars.
I think you should stimulate your curiosity and watch it.
If you rather fancy Fanmade Star Wars films I can direct you to some of the best ones I've seen.

Some of the quality in the production was incredible. Crosshair had the best character development, but Wrecker was the most likeable. Omega sorely lacked any female characteristics and had too much reckless abandon for someone who is supposed to have all the common sense.

    • @kenle2
      @kenle2 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

Omega may have some enhancements that make her good at strategy and pick up skills quickly, but she's still a 13-year-old kid with limited emotional development, her entire previous life as an academic trainee and shut-in and someone with zero practical experience with the "real" galaxy.
Even the clone troopers had considerably more human interactions in their accelerated aging lives than she did.
There's a big difference between inherent talent, or book leaning and hard trained experience.
