the drafts in my house direct the scent away from the room i'm warming it in, the kitchen. so i tried an experiment & put a small fan in front of the warmer and now it directs, or keeps, the scent in the proper area. it's a good solution in this example.
@@BeautynScents sure thing! i've been experimenting with small fans and with moving the warmers to different areas. and it's making all the difference in the world, im getting the full experience of the awesome scents now! like at my desk area i had the warmer on the desk but the natural air flow prevented the fragrance from flooding the area where i sit, so i moved it to the floor & now i get that great smell the whole time i'm sitting there. and in my main working area of the kitchen, i pushed the warmer that's on the counter back towards the wall underneath the cabinets, so now when that warm scented air rises it hits the bottom of the cabinets & pushes it out horizontally, right there where im working so i can enjoy it. before that, the scent was rising upwards and hovering more towards the ceiling. i knew that's where the scent was going because i got on a step stool so i could get up higher, & sure enough all of the scent was above my head where i couldn't smell it. --it's so cool, getting the full effect of those scents while im working actually makes my kitchen chores enjoyable! in a spare room where i do a lot of work, the work requires me to sit on the floor for extended periods of time, & so what i did in there was put a warmer on the floor & put a small fan in front of it, aimed at me. it works great, the fan pulls that warm scented air & floods my work area with it, thereby elevating my mood while i work. ----i'm totally luving all of these products now! ---the wax cubes are Not a problem, it's the airflow of the area that one wants to be scented.
or you need to clean your dish I find that even wiping out the wax over time there's a buildup so every couple days I will clean my warmer with just hot water and let it dry for a couple hours before putting a new scent in
Such great information - some I new on a very surface level but the way you explained is so understandable and YES I'm going to pass this information along and do my own video about it!!!! xoxo
it would have been nice to hear these reasons explained! like what happens when there is too much moisture in the air vs being too dry? Which scents are the stronger ones? there sure was a lot of talking here with not much explained- with contradicting information! Like you said one cube will last about 8 hours- then you said that more cubes at a time will make it last longer- that makes no sense!

As with all scent, all outside environmental characteristics are going to affect the way that we smell things. So yes if the air is too dry or if it’s moist then certainly there’s going to be a difference in your scent. But you also have to take into consideration other things along with those characteristics they all work together. What you found to be contradicting is that 1cube will last for eight hours if that’s all you want to put in your warmer. By putting more into your warmer at one time will definitely increase the scent throw as well as the time and length of scent. If ever you have anymore questions please don’t hesitate to reach out.
I have a BRAND NEW Scentsy Crystal Ice warmer and it won't melt my wax all the way. The bulb that came with it should be correct, and I made sure to check - it is. My home is 70°F with no fans or AC in use. I can get the wax to melt perfectly with any of my other brands of warmers. It's just my Scentsy warmer that's struggling, despite it physically feeling warm to the touch. Is my warmer just defective??
I am sorry that I am just seeing this! Yes your warmer COULD be defective but I would also ask, what wax are you using. The reason for my question is that because Scentsy warmers are a lower temp overall, other waxes are harder to melt in the scentsy warmers. Scentsy wax is a soft edible paraffin wax that is created to melt at just above body temp and therefore easier to melt.
Thank you for another informative video. I think I remember you mentioning on another video about "scent not lasting as long" was to switch off scent families like if we keep warming certain scents such as gourmand our noses may become accustomed to it and not smell it anymore and maybe warm a floral scent next. Also the scent notes some last linger while some "burn off" quickly. Thats one reason I love the "Accord" warmer, We can use it to switch off scents when we start not noticing the scent anymore and not have to rely on multiple warmers or dishes. Or can use it to make different "recipes" to make a new scent experience. :) Thank you again for your wonderful and helpful videos.
If i burn a bath and body works candle it will smell all the way to my second floor; i have central air and heating cause well canadian winter; I hate my scenty warmer; I am sorry but i am not about to freeze in the winter or suffer through summer for a product; I can get a bath and body works candle lit it up for 2 hours and it will linger for hours ..my scenty located in my small upstairs living room throws no smell...
It ok that we all have our favorites. thank you for sharing yours. sometimes it depends on the scent you are warming or the same of te warmer and how many cubes you use.... I use to love candles too.... I have the fire aspect of them now sine I almost lost my home to fire!

Do you need to refrigerate unused wax? Someone told me to do this. I love scentsy!!
no you don't need to but it should be stored ina dry cool place.

Maritza J.A ya I think I’d rather not breathe in the soot from a candle. You don’t need to not have your heater on LOL just add another cube. Simple.
I agree with them few people. The melts are not as strong and I use a variety of scents.
I really feel it sometimes has to do with the environment.... like windows, fans, air purifiers, vents and such. But certainly try a stronger one.
I have a question I have a warmer from Walmart it’s not like my sentsy one of course but my wax is not melting completely why ?
It’s hard to tell you if our wax is going to melt and other warmer since it’s formulated to melt with our bulbs sizes
What’s a strong sent they sell ?
A lot of the bakery scents strong as well as some of the spa cleaning scents
I can’t smell it full stop!
