I take it you haven't read Annihilation. Galan, aka Galactus, holds back alot (or at least the writers hold him back). Go back and see what a weakened Galactus did to the Annihilation wave. Unlike the other abstract beings, Galactus still has some humanity (or whatever his race used to be) left, hence the holding back. And let's not even add whatever heralds he has with him. Galactus if he wanted to could just simply turn their power rings into dust or absorb all the energies within those rings, effectively rendering them powerless. Keep in mind, although not the main DC Universe, Superman with a Yellow ring pretty much took out all of the Green Lantern Corps

Galactus is a bit too much for the Lanterns I’m afraid. Even with Mogo and the Guardians. Ion as well as those above would make it a little more challenging but that wouldn’t do anything more than slow Galan down, it certainly wouldn’t stop him. Base Lanterns (even named ones) are just fodder. Big G just has too much going for him in this fight.

My only nitpick with this is that if the corps knew galactus was coming it wouldn't be much trouble to get everything they need to beat him cause hal or john could just call mogo with their rings and he'd be on his way and kyle could just summon ion on oa, and if the new guardians were in charge then they would know galactus would be trouble for the corps so they would be ready. But i do agree if they had no idea he was coming they would lose. Maybe they would be able to slow him down with all of the lanterns combined power but they wouldnt stop him.

Galactus is a bit too much for the Lanterns I’m afraid. Even with Mogo and the Guardians. Ion as well as those above would make it a little more challenging but that wouldn’t do anything more than slow Galan down, it certainly wouldn’t stop him. Base Lanterns (even named ones) are just fodder. Big G just has too much going for him in this fight.
Green lantern Corps could win if they fight competently. They also have Ion which can solo.

GL/GL Corps have become progressively weaker, even after crisis. They are only rarely powerful when a writer doesn't feel like crapping on them. GL has contained supernovas, moved planets, destroyed planets, killed cosmic entities beyond superman level, and one-shotted superman-level characters. Now? The ring is conveniently de-powered and might as well be a squirt gun that can barely deal with mid-level threats.

My only nitpick with this is that if the corps knew galactus was coming it wouldn't be much trouble to get everything they need to beat him cause hal or john could just call mogo with their rings and he'd be on his way and kyle could just summon ion on oa, and if the new guardians were in charge then they would know galactus would be trouble for the corps so they would be ready.
But i do agree if they had no idea he was coming they would lose.
Maybe they would be able to slow him down with all of the lanterns combined power but they wouldnt stop him.
