When I lived in London during 80s to earlys 90s when moved back to Scotland 1 night was walking on Ealing Broadway a lovely mk2 Jag 3.8 s with problem as bonnet open lots colourful words shouted. Wife telling to calm down in broad GLASWEGIAN accent said can I help you big chap lol he jumped and said can U look car for me cpl mins found wire off coil car started rough did rough carb fuel air ran sweet asked address and phone number etc asked much do I owe you I said nothing but he thrust cash in pocket said be insulted to give him back shook hands n said I'm Ronnie Knight then found woman was Barbara lovely woman he got me work on chaps cars all I DID was recrimp spade connector tight so didn't loosen with vibrations I counted 879 quid in roll gentleman
