Fantasy Premier League 2024-25 has just begun, but that doesn't mean it's too early to Wildcard! This FPL draft team selection video is great for Gameweek 6 if you're looking to play your first GW6 Wildcard template chip for the 2024/2025 Premier League season!
These players are the transfers I am currently targeting, and looking to build towards. In this video I go over my latest thoughts on the best picks, including best captains and cheap budget options. Hopefully you will find this video useful!

Watkins is a big differential for gw 6-9 I rate the fpl pts if he plays 75+mins. DCL is a good cheap striker who's needed for a team in a relegation fight getting good mins. Semenyo okay for the next two, but I prefer Schade or Carvalho, maybe more clarity to come later this week. Thought Carvalho looked great for the 45min in that EFL Cup match.
Some good suggestions here! Think it comes down to personal preference at this point

Very similar to mine I finalized yesterday. :) My Wildcard Team: Raya Trent Gabriel Aina Saka Diaz Mbeumo Semenyo Haaland DCL Solanke Bench: Fabianski ESR Faes Harwood-Bellis My only dilemma is DCL or Wood I have the extra 0.2mil if I want to change it. Van Den Berg is a great idea for a cheap bench defender.
I would suggest Aina for the cheap defender Forrest Defense is solid fixtures are ok as well.
I would take Raya out for Sanchez, and with the extra funds swap Semenyo for Smith Rowe and as an option Solanke for Jackson.
But i am an optimistic Chelsea fan.

@FPLMate Moving forward, Raya will probably score more points than Sanchez, but as a combined, I think Smith Rowe and Sanchez will score more points than Raya & Semenyo with some extra cash in the bank.
With Jackson & Solanke, I think it's too early in the season to see who will come out on top.

brighton and nottingham defence can be good options for cheap defence. they are more likely to have CS than other teams besides Ars and Liv.

Hi Dan. Love the content brother. Please could u explain to me how wildcard works regarding price rises and falls. If u do a wildcard and transfer out esr for adama. Then decide u want esr back. Do u have to pay the current 5.7 or the 5.5 u bought him at. Also could u explain what fpl Fran is doing regarding making transfers and activating wildcard later. I’m sure many have these questions

I like this team. What do ppl think about Maddison over Diaz? Gets subbed off later so more minutes, 0.4m less, marginally better fixtures and less rotation risk? Less direct goal threat but plenty of xA/90
Hey Dan, I have a good team available for GW6 without any Arsenal players but I will need to WildCard in GW7. So should I try to Wildcard in GW6 to take advantage of Arsenal's fixtures or I should wait for GW7?

I must have missed the Mosquera injury! Brentford just paid a LOT of money for Van den Berg, so I think he’s pretty secure, at least worth having over the other £4m guys

@@FPLMatehe could be nailed but there's zero evidence to indicate he is so far other than the fee paid. A more significant factor - is he clearly better than Collins or Pinnock? Not sure anyone could say that's true.
@@LPCRONALDO he played in CB in a 4-man defence the game prior against Man City and then as one of the CBs in the 5 man defence vs Spurs this week.

I would give it a 7 as there are too many cheap players, no Liverpool defenders, not much cover on the bench, and not a lot of flexibility

I made almost the exact same wildcard, this must be the template.
I advise Faes until we see more games from Van Den Berg; and Smith Rowe instead of Semenyo. Otherwise, the rest are perfect.

Whats the thinking there compared to Aina? I know you said Aina was more rotation risk but hasnt he played 90 mins every game.

He only just signed for them which is why he’s only played once, he’s cheaper than Aina, and also just think he’s generally a better player

Does anyone think that trossard might start in 6,7 and maybe 8? With the injury to odegaard I wonder who will start in that attacking midfielder type role. I feel like with the easier fixtures too Mikel arteta might rotate and play trossard or Martinelli? They are both 6.9 mill and could be some good cheap options, I have money to get havertz but I already have Nicolas Jackson and would like to keep him.
I’m gonna take a minus 8 in game week 6 doing Palmer to mbuemo to free up cash then do Robinson to Gabriel for the arsenal defense even tho I have raya too then do Pedro to Jackson so I still have some Chelsea attack

FFH price change tool fucked me over. Joao Pedro was odds on the main player predicted to drop in price last night so I sold him to save the 5.6 value on him (as I had bought him for 5.5) and he didn’t drop. Their price change tool is not worth a w*nk 😡
It’s 98% accurate, as cannot account for Wildcard transfers (which do not impact price changes).
If Joao Pedro was predicted to drop last night, but didn’t, all that means is that he will drop in the next day or two. Without the tool you would not know this, and you would lose money the next day anyway. You have still benefited from the tool.
Guys i need help im starting to think im leaning more towards Son than Palmer because of spurs’ fixtures what do you guys think?
I’d do the same; and Son is 0.5m cheaper, Palmer is getting subbed at the end which won’t happen to Son if he stays fit

Yeah I’d definitely play Semenyo over Rogers this week. Southampton is a phenomenal fixture, and Semenyo has infinitely more goal threat
@@FPLMate watched every Villa game this season, Rodger’s is a mid playing in a front two of a top 4 side that have scored 10 against teams parking the bus. . Bournemouth have scored 3 more than Southampton and conceded 8 to Southamptons 9,
