- Hey guys! This is a video from when I went to see my lovely grandma and I gave her a longevity peach! This is a traditional Chinese gift called 寿桃 (shòu táo), which translates to longevity peach or long-life peach. It is usually seen in the form of a cake and given to grandparents on their birthday, and before when I told my grandma about this she thought it was great, but I wasn't able to see her on her birthday to give her a peach cake, so I gave her this statue version!
I took this video when I went to visit her a couple of weeks ago, and I was just filming different things for memories, but I ended up capturing this moment on camera and thought it was too precious not to share with everyone! Hopefully you guys enjoy this video, and as always, let me know if you have any comments/questions!

That longevity peach looks very heavy and ornate and colorful! I'm sure it truly brightened her grandmother's day! I like how considerate and principled Xingyue is when gift--giving. Filming people with gifts might pressure them to be grateful or make her sincere thoughtfulness and generosity seem opportunistically self--promoting.
