Nice to see this. I downloaded this to try out the release rewards, but I've actually had a lot of fun and may keep going for a while. I'd recommend using the free stamina potions you get to try and unlock weekly and to cap out the simulated universe, as those will probably be the biggest things for your progression. (I instead tried to clear all available missions, didn't get enough account xp and when I finally cracked the potions and unlocked weeklies, there were 57s left, so I missed the 1st week.)

As a HSR player, this game is so kooky, off-the-wall, hilarious, wild and meta at times that it reminds me a lot of Nier. If you enjoyed pixel hunting in Genshin then youre in for a treat.
Oh well, didn't expect this coming, This genuinely surprise me, hope you have a good trip though btw there are a lot of references in this game both from genshin and especially honkai but this is a difference universe so you don't have to worry much about lore (as of now) ;)

But then again, i use to enjoy playing pokemon waaaaay back, and that is kind of a turn based game right??? So i might give this game a shot.
Honkai star rail and honkai impact 3rd dont share any story. The only thing that is shared are the character designs. The characters personality are also different. Its a different game not a continuation. However, there are similarities and easter eggs.
Mmm, its more like Gun Gurls Z/Honkai Gakuen (very depressing story with bed ends and bad ends only; also english servers shut down last year, so sad). But most of Hoyoverse's games are all connected, like how DC and Marvel connects. A little secret and fact about Kafka, there was another different character named Kafka too. Though they aren't the main focus, their background info in the Gun Girls Z/ Honkai Gakuen sounds exactly how Honkai Star Rail is, and another unknown story she written, again different Kafka but there has been similar character designs, names and Hoyoverse don't misuses anything lore wise. Also, I'll now br wishing for you to one day have time to pmay Honkai Impact 3rd, especially their manga. Also, most of Hoyoverse's games are copyright free, if you ended up on a copyright strike, then somebody's falsely copystriking yah.

Heads up, you should try to level up Stelle, The MCs are actually a decent unit in this game. And some missions require you to bring her along.

I'd recommend turning on action points in your UI and maybe setting sprint to hold, rather than toggle, as any action will cancel the toggle.
Does the "action points" setting cause interactable objects to appear highlighted? If so that could be quite useful.
