The way Momoshiki avoided Kawaki’s ninja tool shards and then flys into the air with blue aura around him made me go back to Rayquaza when he was fighting Deoxys in that Pokémon Generations episode. Momo went crazy in this episode. He was catching those spears and planting them in the ground and just kicking Kawaki around like he was nothing was just peak 💯 I’d say Momoshiki and Boruto’s speed combined together made them look merciless and savage
I like the anime fixed some scenes like having Shikamaru use his ability in a way Momoshiki can't open his hand to absorb leaving him open for Code to ambush him. In the manga it felt like he wasn't paying any attention to anyone.

As an animator. I would just like to correct misconceptions about "reusing animation". Which isn't exactly what's happening here, bc that would imply they completely just copy and pasted the frames, and tha would actually be harder to do than just reanimating it - considering the difference in composition. They're reusing the choreography/sequence, not the animation itself.
Boruto would fold most new gen anime if it was seasonal and didn't have 40% filler. Story is way better than shows like Chainsaw man (and the characters aren't one dimensional sped weirdos like Denji. 😶) Animation has tons of potential, considering this is the same studio that's animating bleach TYBW. It's the Naruto verse, which is just a W by default. Etc.
