Here’s the breakdown:
Planners

2. Hobonichi Weeks for pretty functional

1. Moleskine Daily Pocket for messy hourly planning and daily to-dos
2. Filofax for meetings and daily work tasks
Journals
Weeklies
1. TN Passport w/ weekly for cute planning & memory keeping
2. TN Standard w/ month for high light of the day & weekly for weekly reflections

1. Hibino for feelings/reflections/free writing
2. A6 Hon for recap of the day

Same thoughts mostly. I have been 3 years hobonichi free. More into the TN passport size since last year and liking the all in 1 book for EDC. Changed it up a bit for September (after Penco NB full) and used ring binders (micro 5 & mini 6) for edc and transfer notes to Nolty small notebook for journal which stays at home. That way I can use up all the scrap paper refills in my stationary stash to clear up space in my room. Then I realized I gravitate to thinner notebooks for edc because it feels better in the hand. Also Aliexpress stores came out with M5&M6 refills with foldouts so I got 2024 calendar along with monthly & trackers for habit and finances. Rest of the ring refill pages will be blank for daily scribbles. I got a small thin notebook just to use as a swear book for mental health. This is to be trashed year end😅. I am trying to limit my planner numbers every year but new stuff always entice me. Therefore I usually aim for undated so if I have too many I can save them for follow years to save on stationary spending. Also I also realize I like to change up my weekly formats from time to time. So instead of changing whole books from different brands, I can just draw out the new format I want to try the week before, like I did on Penco notebook in TN passport cover. Downside is the spine that will not hold up my rough use so I had to tape it up a few times but the paper quality and number of pages made up for it. Having smaller books is also a good thing for me as I do enjoy starting a new book every season/quarter to fulfill my needs instead of buying into a new system (which is usually set for a year) and getting tired of it after a few weeks/months. Kinbor blank grid notebooks also good if you want to change up format from weekly horizontal to vertical. Sorry to be long winded. Will return to check out your other videos.

I typically don’t like undated notebooks so the planners that I gravitate towards are always the ones that are dated. Which is why I always seem to gravitate toward hobonichi planners. Overall if I had to pick just one planner it would me the Filofax Personal, but for a journal I’m all for the Hibino. The only issue is it bulks up so much! So most of my scribbling and thoughts are in there while my memory keeling is in the A6 Hibino. Not sure if I would like undated weeklies either. I tend to like the basic layout - the hobonichi or the week on two pages from Filofax.
I haven’t really tried the refills from Aliexoress but I have used the regular grid. Also I have a few passport sized notebooks from AliExpress that I have been hoarding.

Wow, I have equally "complicated" lineups 😂 I feel much better now...!! I actually, especially this year, particularly like to use too many "highlights of the day" dated planners lol.... But I don't write daily I just backlog when I feel like using that particular notebook.
I do that too! Especially in my A6 original! It’s so hard though especially since I want to try all the planners! Maybe one day I’ll condense my journal line up!? lol! Anyways thanks so much for watching.

Thanks for sharing, I love watching these types of videos because it helps me feel less alone in my own planner thoughts and chaos. :) I am wondering if you can explain how you use the Weeks and the Moleskin Weekly? Are they basically the same thing or do you use one more for messy planning and the other more for archiving?
Thank you so much for subbing and watching! Oh my gosh it’s kinda embarrassing but my weeks and my Moleskine have pretty much the exact same stuff. The only difference is my Moleskine doesn’t really have that much deco compared to my weeks! Sorry that didn’t help much!
Ha, we are all in the same position confused and we keep adding more, I love it LOL. Question what is the name of the Filofax covers for your personal and pocket? The brown covers? Now I feel like I need one :)
Yes and now all this talk about ring planners on insta. Lol! The two ring planners are Filofax Ranger. It’s discontinued now but check eBay! Thanks so much for watching! 💗💗💗
