Thanks Yvonne,But I won't be able to do a step by step for this 8" in the round due to the time it takes to carve it.I'll try to help you along as I carve..And if you purchase the Woodcarving illustrated spring issue #86 there are step by step photos..
Dennis, to keep the blade from coming off when backing out, round the back of the blade with sand paper or a fine file to remove the manufacture square edge while the blade is moving. I do this when I install a new blade.
