a lot of great tips there guys. We also have a 4 legged furry hot water bottle they are very useful in the winter. We have always used our Caravans over the winter agree that it is the best way to look after them in the colder months. Makes me think of the old saying "use it or lose it"
Just put our van away for winter. Drained it down and got over a litre more water out of it 😮 got rid of awning and purchased sun canopy with side panels along with air beam fence - absolute game changer as more lighter, easy to pack away and easier to dry.
Yes guys .new the the caravan world all videos have been a great help been on a binge .any chance of doing a how do you store a caravan in the winter .
Some great points... love the free hot water bottles... our two are great ... one either side of us keeps the place toasties... we taken out the awning . Helps to reduce the weight... 50 kilos... we try to stick to hard standing places... and totally agree about laying there watching the stars . Have a great winter holidays
@LangSara absolutely.... the 5 panels Of the awning. Plus the extra poles. Then the table and chairs..... the cadac. The external cupboard and the windbreak.... we pack it all for summer camping... but no point for the winter... the total weight is nearly 100kg... so leaving it behind saves weight. And diesel. Good all round savings...
