Thanks! I've definitely been very inspired by your channel and watched many of your videos. It's nice to learn from not just my dad, but other channels too because there's so many ways of doing things.
Im a retired boiler maker in Australia and I worked with 2 of my sons when they wear doing there apprenticeship , And there is a special bond when parsing down the Knowledge you have taken a life time to learn . Now I do Blacksmithing as a hobby so I hope that we all can learn from Ned . Cheers .😵💫🤠
Two years ago I started a hobby handtool woodworking shop. This year I'm branching out and adding a forge to my workshop to make nails, hinges and doorhandles. All I know about woodworking, I learned from youtube and Paul Sellers was my most beloved channel. The passion, calm teaching style and depth of knowledge was what drew me. So far I have watched every video you have published and it seems to me I have found the Paul Sellers of Blacksmithing. Subscribed!
That's awesome, thanks! TH-cam is such a great resource for learning new things. I'm learning blacksmithing from my dad, but also lots of other channels. It's helpful to have a variety of sources to learn from as there's many ways to do things.
I am a Carpenter girl. Unfortunately learned nothing from my father who was a bricklayer. He just didn't want to show and was rather difficult to be around. So I will watch your process to professionally Learn something from Your dad! Keep it coming! You are the Lucky one!
Congratulations on your startup! Im excited for both of you. The contrast between your skills should really reflect in the processes. I think it will be a tremendous teaching tool for anyone just starting out, and to be able to learn from your father makes it something really special.
Don't worry, there's more new stuff coming soon! Yes, this is a shorter version of the first video but it's meant to be for new people coming to the channel so they know what it's about in a quicker format. Had to put it up sometime, so trying to sneak it in between the actual new content. Next video will be a basic J hook, so stick around! 🙂
Loved this episode! Ned’s tool collection is fascinating! 😊
Looks like a cool shop and a beautiful place. I look forward to watching more of your videos.
Oh this is so good. Can't wait to go along for the ride.
I watched the making a nail video before this one. Those rose head nails were the best I've ever seen.
Best of luck, enjoy the journey

I guess the craftsperson gene runs in the family even if you don't learn directly. Thanks for your support!
I have high hopes for this channel. Subbed
Thanks! We have high hopes too 😁
Please add a shop tour.
Very curious about those vices and all the stuff your dad has collected or made over the years.
