Steve Harley - Ballerina (Prima Donna) (Alternative Music Video, 1983)

Partial footage from an alternative music video for Steve Harley's 1983 single Ballerina (Prima Donna). The song was written and produced by Mike Batt, and reached number 51 in the UK Singles Chart in September 1983.
I asked Steve about this footage back in 2015, but he did not recall filming anything other than the main music video, so it remains something of a mystery. Perhaps it was originally intended as the video until encouraging sales prompted the commissioning of a bigger budget video? Or was it filmed in haste as a promotional tool until the main video could be completed?
