Another great episode! I dig the on-site mid adventure podcast! With the sounds of nature in the background! Let’s do more like these!!👍🏼
I like the belt pack for a phone and handheld radio in case you get separated from the bike. I don't recommend a backpack even though they are popular, because carrying all that weight up high on your body puts extra load on your legs and arms for every motion you have. We buy the lightest aluminum or carbon gear for the bike but then to that to ourselves. Add a simple saddlebag for $100 to the seat/frame. For dust, pollen, smoke or if following someone, wear a N95 mask, save your lungs for something better than dirt and smoke, you will be glad when you get over 60 that you protected your lungs. If you are heavier than your ideal weight, body fat will cause oxygen/breathing problems, and asthma. Also the extra fat in the face/nose restricts your sinus passages. Drop the weight, we all know better, don't wait for a health scare, be proactive. Keep up the good vids DBTV Jay!
"And do you know who pays for that family plan" that was funny, it's great to see you two living your best life.
Haha, Thank you!
What a great show and I love that it was done on the trail!
thanks!
Had a 2017 KTM that was stone cold reliable After looking at all the 300’s on the market the Rieju 300 6 days, ticks all the boxes . Carburetor, kickstart, premix, KYB suspension and no fuel pump. What was good in the past is still good.
Try using Black, Green, Etc. No sugar Tea, in replacement of Diet Soda I quit and use Tea no sugar and drink water with electria lites , Bcaa etc.
Many people have had the fuel pump problem fixed since spring of’23 using the old style pump in the new tanks… Acerbis, IMS or stock tank. Easy fix. Great channel!!
Thanks for sharing and watching the video!
I have a '24 350 XCF with a Rekluse Radius. I'm in AZ, and ride rocks/ offroad stuff. My buddy has a 300xc, which I've ridden alot. The thing is with the 300 is that it can be just as fast as the 350 with NO ENGINE VIBRATION. The 300 also requires less energy to ride. The 350 you have to ring its neck to get that power. I'm going to convert to a 2025 300 XC. They are just easier to ride for longer with no vibration. You really don't notice until you go back to back on them
Best studio yet!!! Sorry Donnie 😊
Haha definitely is more scenic.
Nice job, DBTV1 and DBTV2
Also replace all sugar foods with a cigar
Running waist packs work good for a lightweight way to hold your phone n stuff
Its great!
Got carry lots of snacks with you. And water. The pack gets heavy. 😊
Yeah after a certain point I just make Spencer carry it all.
On the fuel tank issue, don't use the IMS tank, The IMS tank has a huge drop in the bottom part of the tank on the left side and it is also a pour design. Use the Acerbis large 3 gallon tank and it works well even with the bad KTM fuel pump design.
Jay, would consider doing a bit on rider protection you use for trail riding? You talked through the evs knee protection. What about elbows, chest, ribs? Any other protection goodies you recommend?
Ribs need more protection, I broke 3 falling fast in sand on my side, elbow pad impacted the side while wearing Aplinstars Bionic. I now wear a karting vest over that in technical hot weather. I wear the Tech Air 5 when dual sporting with no false deploys. Rib healing will set you back for months just with the muscle loss and you can't work for weeks.
so you dont drive your van to the spot so how did you get your bikes there?
We have bikes at Spencer's home base in Utah
Grantsburg, WI-Bottomless sand
We need more sand tracks
Why not just tell everyone where you’re at- like who is really gonna find your trail 😂 now come home already!!
i paid 365.00 for my husky compressor 25 years ago......runs great so far.......knock on wood
Nice!
my wife drinks a 2 litre of diet coke a day and she has to have ice with it in her cup......at 2.84 a bottle thats a lot of money per month
Haha we are only a little addicted
diet sodas have huge health ramifications. Kick the habit...for love of life.
@@dirtrider9268 .....yes ive been telling my wife that for 25 years......not good stuff
