I think you should change the title because I watched the video hoping to understand the difference between the two, but I just learned how to transform from circular to linear. Not a bad thing, I did learn something useful, the methods were interesting because I always use formulas but now I could use this in some problems since it is shorter.
u told by making equal samples x(n)=h(n) using L+M-1 formula in another vedio of urs but , u didnt used it here and made x(n)=h(n) bby adding zero to h(n).. this can be done in any circular convolution sum? i mean to say zero padding?
JASON JIMBUN Then after linear convolution... Range of n in answer will have Least n value = least among (x1,x2).. Highest n value = highest among (x1,x2) Highest n value
Sorry let me refresh the question again. If I have this question, x[n]={4 ,1 ,2 ,5) , with 1 as position 0 and h[n] = {1, 2, -1}, with 2 as postion 0, how do we solve it using Circular method?
Nice, now the question twist a bit, What if x[n]={4 ,1 ,2 ,5) , with 4 as position 0 and h[n] = {1, 2, -1}, with 2 as postion 0. Using Circular Method should I have 5x5 5x1 matrix? including the zero padding
Shrenik Jain Sir.. Y haven't u solved Convolution using graphical method?i checked out videos of various channels but I'm not satisfied.. It wud be better if I learned ur lecture :/

Even this being English deserves a like, the content deserves another like! Thank you!
Hats off. Crystal clear, simple and neat explanation. Thank you 🙏
good video, but why we need to make the result of LC and CC the same? why they need to be the same?
Thank you bro you've been helping for all my semesters👌👍
bro...clarified even the complex doubts!!thumbs up!!
mazaa aa gaya bhaiya....bohot pyara samjhaya.....11 min mein samajh aa gaya kal viva kaisa dena hai.....xD
thank u so much it was very clear
perfect got exactly what needed short time video but more marks video. Superb!
in just 10 minutes got much more than i get juggling my mind over different books....

How did you get all the values of x(n) from x(n)=(1,2,3,4) at 6:00 . I mean how did you get this 4by4 matrix
How to calculate both linear and circular convolution when 0th sequence start at different locations
direct and simple explanation , you should increase viewers ,it will help many engineers
sabbani mahesh
I cannot increase viewers ...
You can :)
By sharing videos 😀
Shrenik Jain you have to explain these type of videos , when I search a topic your video should be seen in search results
Shrenik Jain search on TH-cam and workout on how your video can be seen on top of search results, your content is awesome man. Keep it up 🎙📈⬆⬆⬆⬆⬆
sabbani mahesh
Ty for appreciating 😃
sabbani mahesh
Yeah I did some search engine techniques
Very cool and very concise. Thank you.
good explanation but how do we know the location of origin after solving with linear method???
Thanks for ur useful video..but sir I have one question that if signal contain past value i.e left handed than how to solve this type of question
Crystal clear bro.
Sir plz upload more videos
As your videos are very helpful 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Wonderful explanation sir.... Hats off u 👏.... More useful video
What is the reason for getting different answers ? What does it imply?
Why '(0)' is not put intially in sample. For padding
great lesson!
for circular convlution what if the length of x is shorter than h, then what?
thanks, really helpful. do you have any video lecture specifically explaining circular convolution?
+Kuntoro Adi Nugroho
Yup..
Type - circular convolution by shrenik Jain..
You will get it
Super explanation sir
Please upload videos related to digital signal processing subject?
Tq so much your video is very grateful for me to derive linear convolution
Bro but n=0 point is imp to mark ,what to do about that 😕
Plzz make a video on DIF -FFT and Inverse of DIF FFT
And which are the advantages of circular convolution?
Can u plz tell me these methods only applicable for discretectime ...what r the shortcuts for contineous time for fonvolution
Man, big thanks for amazing explanation!!!
Suppose if we solve by this method for both problems seperately will it get consider?
Awesome explanation 😀😀
Ty 😃
u told by making equal samples x(n)=h(n) using L+M-1 formula in another vedio of urs but , u didnt used it here and made x(n)=h(n) bby adding zero to h(n).. this can be done in any circular convolution sum? i mean to say zero padding?
Good explanation sir
These video clear all doubt..
Ty 😃
crystal clear and perect
In overlap add method we write h(n) in the 4×4. Or 6×6 whatever
But here we r writing x(n) in that sq. Matrix why?
very helpful video
Sir is this method applicable for find the linear convolution using circular convolution?
Thnks bro for this simple method

Why in one circular convolution you are using zero padding and in next video you are using l+m-1 to make length equal.....so what is the difference
wonderful...Beautifully explained
Ty 😊

Easy to explain thanks bro...
And upload more videos..
What if when h(n)=sin(3¶n/8)for 8point circular convolution
Hello, there guru, What if the origin of each signal x[n] and h[n] is different? I mean the position of 0
JASON JIMBUN
Then after linear convolution...
Range of n in answer will have
Least n value = least among (x1,x2)..
Highest n value = highest among (x1,x2)
Highest n value
Sorry let me refresh the question again. If I have this question, x[n]={4 ,1 ,2 ,5) , with 1 as position 0 and
h[n] = {1, 2, -1}, with 2 as postion 0,
how do we solve it using Circular method?
JASON JIMBUN
Make size same and solve..
Ans will have least value of n as -1 and highest value as 2
Nice, now the question twist a bit, What if x[n]={4 ,1 ,2 ,5) , with 4 as position 0 and
h[n] = {1, 2, -1}, with 2 as postion 0.
Using Circular Method should I have 5x5 5x1 matrix? including the zero padding
nop..
4x4 with least value as -1 and highest as 2
sir can we solve circular convolution sum using tabular method??
Great video thanks!
if i directly do zero padding without checking both answers, that's fine right ?
Simple to understand
Explanation was damn understanding
Ty 😄😊
Sir if x(n) having 5sequence and h(n) having 4 Sequense then how we add 0 in Circular convolution plzz reply sir
What if h(n) not given
Super like..nicely xplained
+Gaurav Sharma
😃
Share with your friends as well 😃😊
*Plzz make more videos on linear and circular convolution, I am from Computer Department.*
Sir last method if I use 6*6 for h(n) and 6*1 for x(n) still answer will be same or different , is it valid??
I don't think order matters
thank you very clear
It's called shrenik jain
Nice content your
Thank you very much!
welcome :)
Awesome lecture..

Shrenik Jain Sir.. Y haven't u solved Convolution using graphical method?i checked out videos of various channels but I'm not satisfied.. It wud be better if I learned ur lecture :/
Sir,graphical method par v kariye...
If x(n)=&(n)+&(n-1)-&(n-2)+&(n-3) and h(n)=&(n)+2&(n-1)+3&(n-2) find y(n) linear convolution ..... Plz send linked of this example &is del
Thank u sir ....thank u so much
Sir plz add a video to find linear convolution using circular convolution
Swayam Prakash
This video is that only...
Using circular conv. you can find linear conv. By zero padding concept
Shrenik Jain Sir i am facing a bit doubt for solving the problems on finding linear convolution using circular convolution
will u plz upload a problem like that?
Swayam Prakash
In this video all steps are mentioned ..
Follow it carefully
Shrenik Jain ok sir
My exam is after 2 hours and i am here 😂
great sir!!!!
Thanks 😃
Ty
thanks a lot
Nice video
thank you so much.
Thank you dude...
Super
Thanks :)
Nicely explained 😊
But this method won't work for 8 marks ques😂
Thank you
