  • CZ 457 LRP 100 Yards - Eley Tenex
    In this video I will test Eley Tenex 22 long rifle rimfire ammunition to see how well this highly regarded ammo performs in my CZ 457 LRP. I have installed an Olympic contoured barrel from IBI as well as a flat blade Timney CZ 457 precision Trigger.
    This test will be fired from the 100 yard line of my private range.
    Hope you enjoy the testing and DON'T FORGET TO SUBSCRIBE! , COMMENT, AND LIKE! the video.
    There will be new videos releasing every Sunday morning at 9 am!

    Weather was nice today and I went out and done some shooting with my cz457 vpt mtr and got several 1/4 inch groups with center x and some 1/2 groups had a few 3/4 and 1 inch groups but had a lot of fun I love to shoot. You shoot well my friend keep up good work.

      That’s awesome! Ya it’s a great hobby for sure. The 22’s make it a lot of fun because they are actually very accurate. When I first started shooting I thought a 2 or 3” group at 100 was amazing but these days it’s not out of the norm to shoot .50” or .75” at 100 consistently. Cheers my friend

    Dude, sub 1/2in group at 100? OUTSTANDING! Nice job!
    I recently used Eley Team in my 455 IBI for the last ORPS match and during my zero sessions I was getting just under an inch at 100. SK LRM does well at 50, but not at 100 for me.
    Anyway, well done as usual.

    I have an old second hand Anschutz Match 54 model 1407 that cost me £200 about two years ago. Using SK Standard Plus and with a £150 scope it will knock the centre from that target at 100 meters in five shots. Don't throw money at the latest trends. My £350 kit will outshoot that expensive gear all day long.

    • @BROTUNED
      @BROTUNED  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can make the stock barrel shoot extremely well with a tuner. I haven’t done it but if you find the ammo the barrel likes then add a tuner you can meet or beat these results for sure. I think the biggest improvement was the timney flat blade trigger. I have mine set at 10 oz. And it’s day and night difference compared to the stock trigger. Don’t get me wrong the stock trigger is very very good especially when you replace the trigger spring with a mechanical pens spring.
