There are many talented people in India who can be appointed for the chief SEBI. Why the hell the Government go and pickup people with controversial backgrounds that too from Overseas. Definitely it creates doubts.

All said and done, the lesson for the Govt.is to appoint people totally unconnected even remotely with the Institution they will serve, to avoid any nuisance of this sort in future. For the present, Hindenberg report deserves to be consigned to dustbin, if the allegations are baseless and ill motivated, as it seems.
