If only they were just a LITTLE bit cheaper. i don't even care about the game but there have been a handful of characters that i've loved seeing them create in Minifigure form.
Felipe Cortes they can't, in an interview they said that in year 2, the only place you can get this years minifigs are in the game so unfortunately the only characters that are from a Lego set and are from this year are Harry Potter and Voldemort
I've asked before but I'm not sure if it was answered: why do you only assemble the starter gadget and not the following upgrades? Is it an issue of unlocking in game? Lack of interest in building the other models? Or lack of in game currency to upgrade them? I wondered about this throughout year 1 reviews but I'm slightly disheartened that year 2 hasn't changed. If you have care to the first build in hand, why only gaze at the box art of the rest? Surely this wouldn't happen in a creator or lego movie review, which has the same multiple-in-1 aspect, right?
I'll definitely be picking up the Marceline Fun Pack this November, but I'll have to wait until Finn goes up on Bricklink to get him. Don't have the game, just want the figures.
I don't really like Finn's backpack but it is the parachute backpack is the closest piece to Finn's real backpack which is strange that Lego Doesn't have a plain Backpack piece
York Chang I think the reason they printed it on flesh tone is because when you print flesh tone on darker pieces, the print is darker then the original colour
why didn't they make his legs black with a white print on top of the shoes? and the same goes for Sonic The Hedgehog. it just looks like weird socks. the fact they didn't make Jake a police car is a HUGE missed opportunity, because who else loved that episode of Finn and Jake solving mystery's while pretending to be police?
I don't think Finn is rendered that well, the hole in his hood is weirdly small (& the hood is too thick), while a normal "classic space" white helmet + a classic minifig face already looks more like Finn's head (minus the hood's ears). Also nitpicking, Jake looks more believable here than as a minifig in the other pack, however it should be 100% yellow as, quoting Jake, "I can't replicate colors".
I love adventure time, but I'm not getting these sets simply because I don't play the game. Definitely getting the ideas set next year, although it looks pretty bad in my opinion, but its adventure time, so why not?

I think that they should have moulded the bottom half of his legs black and printed on the flesh tone.

Although I've never really been into Adventure Time, I can say the the minifigs are amazing!

Blarp the ideas set has better value tho, although it looks pretty bad
well with the ideas said you could use the brick built jake to have a larger jake and the brick built BMO to have a smaller BMO

I think they did a good job on the Finn minifigure
JakeMobile looks like a mini Ecto 1, and the Ancient Psychic Tandem War Elephant looks like a mini mech
