Brought back some memories, about 6 years ago three English MGF cars made the journey to Stans, fairly central for our exploration. This was either late March or early April, we started to ascend the pass in misty damp weather which turned to sleet as we neared the cafe. The difference 30 minutes makes in the mountains as when we returned to the cars the sun had broken through giving us a fantastic vista looking back at the road we had traveled. We enquired from the Post bus driver if the road was passable to go right over the top, being English we were not equipped with winter tyres etc so we set off, the drive down into the valley was spectacular, the cows etc seemed to please themselves regarding use of the road.
The last part of your video is the culmination of this amazing route in paradise. The dandelion carpet is so beautiful! I had the feeling of being there during all the travel. Thank you so much, Sylvia!

Here in the central plains of the US, we call them “dandy lions” (with a bit of a twang). Lol You say it so much more eloquently and your videos provide a whole new perspective of how beautiful they are in the meadows. We treat them as a weed so we spend more time getting rid of them, sorry to say. I know we shouldn’t do that since they are good for the bees! Your camera is so good in the car that watching is difficult for this motion-sickness sensitive viewer. Probably best that I fast forward through most of the drive as some of those cliffs and curves are way too scary for me! Again, I live on the flat, flat plains. 😂 Thanks for another amazing video! Rasta is adorable! 🥰

I seen one having a buffet on them after they turned to cotton. I wonder if theyre like eucalyptus to koala bears? I imagine that groundhog had cottonmouth.

The fields are painted yellow with thousands of dandelions. You should make hot bacon dressing with the dandelion greens for Rasta. In early spring the plant tops are purple and under the ground pink and sweet. Schmock gude.
