The perfect warrior curve:
Turn 2: Play weapon
Turn 3: Brann and pray it survives
Turn 4: Hobart Grapplehammer

You can kill as early as turn 4 in Wild if nobody disrupts what you're doing.

I like how it includes other Wild keywords like Echo, Corrupt and Adapt even if their expansions are not in this Twist season.
This is the idea of the expansion, they are from the future.

Yeah, it would have been cool if they included Recruit too, cus they had the chance, like Valstan Staghelm who could have had his text be Deathrattle : Recruit a Taunt Minion.

26:25 To clarify, the Old Gods that you can get on this packs are the original ones from Whispers of the Old Gods, instead of the ones in Madness at the Darkmoon Faire.
Witch of the Arch-Thief says it summons a voidwalker, and then repeats if the opponent has more minions. Meaning even if the opponent has only 1 minion or none at all, she'll still summon 1 voidwalker.

Edit:Most of these card are just references to iconic events or quest or simply memes's from the community of both wow and HS ,like the scarab lord that is a reference to a dope mount that you would get after finishing a infamously long and convoluted questline that ends with you ( just like in the card ) ring the gong to open the gates to ahn'qiraj a famous raid that ends in you defeating c'thun and his minion's which is why the expansion has a focus on c'thun cards for the most part
i think the one riding it might even be a reference to barny64's scarab lord run
Runi, Time Explorer is actually a huge reference to the history of World of Warcraft's expansions. The Chromie card lets us know that the Caverns of Time expansion is taking place during Wrath of the Lich King based on the Epochs that are active (Escape from Durnholde, the Black Morass, Battle for Mount Hyjal, and the Culling of Stratholme).
Every future location from Runi is where a major expansion cinematic took place (with the sole exception of WoD because it's a time anomaly).
Temple of Earth: Cataclysm, it's where Deathwing was given his elementium armor and then burst into Azeroth.
Ruins of Korune: Mists of Pandaria, where Chen Stormstout fought a human and orc.
The Nighthold: Beginning of Legion, when the Nightfallen resistance attempts to invade Suramar and are stopped by Elisande.
Xenedar: Near the end of Legion, the Rejection of the Gift cinematic where Illidan kills X'era.
Outskirts of Lordearon: Battle for Azeroth, the battle for Lordearon.
Wind Rider Roost: Shadowlands, the Jailer's forces kidnap Baine, Thrall, Jaina and Anduin.
Valdrakken: Dragonflight, opening cinematic where Koranos activates the beacon to call the dragons back to the Dragon Isles.
So cool! I wish Zeddy knew the WoW lore as without it he does not really entertain us this much.
I like how Trial of the Jormungars can pull both Dreadscale and Acidmaw, which themselves are also Jormungars.

Trial of Jormungars could be effectively an Ice Fishing in a Reno/Big Beast Hunter. Those decks could very easily keep their cheap beast pool to acidmaw+dreadscale so you get a stabilizing tool against aggro. I could easily see it in Reno Secret Hunter in particular.
zeddy the witch will summon a 1/3 taunt regardless. it just repeats if they have more minions lol
Listening to you trying to pronounce Warcraft locations like Lordaeron and Hyjal made this video even better lol some really interesting cards, I haven't tried wild OR twist, but the signatures are making me consider wild.
How often do we have Wild/Twist-exclusive expansion like Caverns of Time? Did they ever mention it? Like once a year or 2-3 times a year?
We needed this for so long, really glad for all of these changes over the past year or so.
As a shadowpriest main, ships chirurgeon is a 5 Star auto include in pirate aggro priest. The deck appreciates more 1drop Pirates, it gives patches an auto boost and if it sticks, it makes your boards MUCH harder to clean.
Insane card imo, also opens up some experiments with a small midrange-ish dragon package, though that might go too much against the deck's incentive
Nailed it….this card sucks for the rest of us but Zeddy missed how horrible it is going to be to play against in shadowpriest….
Also, I like how Ship’s Chirurgeon slots directly into like a tier two deck in Wild (aggro priest) and Zeddy’s like “🧐 two stars, not gonna see play”

At the end of the video you mentioned the other old gods were from Madness at the Darkmoon Faire, but those are the original ones from Whispers of the Old Gods. All of the signatures are cards available in Twist.

It's pretty clear they were not really interested in combating any of the existing power decks in wild. Another missed opportunity for the dev team.
Yes the third jade card for rogue, I have been waiting for so long, I told my friend that they should add the missing jade card as a joke in the expansion after as a minion that forgot to show up to the brawl between clans and is confused on what happened, that was my idea so many years ago, dam I feel nostalgic.
I got a stupid sense of deja vu from when I played wow as a kid when zeddy said "haha more ass"
What I wanna mention: With Trial of the Jormungars a Buzzard draws you a card if it comes out first 100% - cause there is no "at the same time" in HS. Things always happen one by one, and that goes for everything.

They finally did it: reworks, wild buffs and support for old stuff. Awesome.
Oh, nice. Looks like handbuff dragon paladin might be pretty good in twist. I remember playing that a lot in Mean Streets. Was a fun curve deck, but it ended up getting eaten by midrange/jade shaman. With these new cards it might have a shot.
I think the time lost raptors battlecry affects all the previously summoned raptors. So the first one can get health then the next could give BOTH the raptors attack. I don't remember all the adapt options, but I could easily see you making a board full of divine sheild taunt minions if you get the ordering right.

Yes but the problem is that it is incredibly slow because 2 mana 1/1 adapt is terrible at 4 mana it might be okay and at 6 mana it is starting to get decent but at that point there is usually better stuff you can do
He did indeed describe it correctly, but I think it is important to think about the high roll possibilities.
While it seems slow, the affect is powerful and if you build a deck to abuse it, it might be insane. With one Emperor proc and/or the new Bran Bronzebeard land in Twist I think Zeddy got this one wrong. It is probably still one star in wild, but I think there is a lot of potential in Twist

Then you forgot one improtant thing - windfury.
And iirc there is 5 mana beast that gives others charge in twist. so with 1 emperor proc you could highroll 3 windfury charge beasts with a sum of 12 attack :) That's also an option.
And even without this charge beast windfury is insane
@@linsentunes There aren't any high roll possibilities. At best you get 5 1/1's where they've adapted 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 times. All for 10 mana. Which is garbage.
We know this is garbage, because Galvadon is garbage and is a 5 mana 5/5 that adapts 5 times.
Even if you have discounts (Which would have to be something like Thaddius or Generous Mummy since Echo doesn't keep discounts), that's still at best 7 mana for 7 1/1's with adapt 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Which still just dies to most 8 cost AoE's.

The warlock Witch of the Archmage is a baseline of 2/4 and 1/3: Repeat if your opponent has more, so it's a 3/7 with some taunt, it's fine as a auto include in twist, wild, depends how warlock dekcs go, warlock has removal, but can hedge vs agro or hero power druid.
Runi is extremely interesting because I am assuming it is teasing future expansions due to Lordaeron corresponding with MotLK Wind Rider Roost corresponding with FoL and I don't know all of these locations so I am not sure which one fits with titans but super exciting prospect that we could be getting monk class very soon

wait, scarab gong gives the rogue the 1/1s right? cause the gong is sent to the opponents field....so in that regard for the gong the rogue is now the opponent.
Yep. Also worth noting the gong has 2 health so you can poke it with a dagger twice to get 2 waves of scarabs. Add in bounce shenanigans and you can have a LOT of scarabs over the course of a game. I'm not sure it's meta-worthy as rogue isn't really a class that capitalises on having wide boards, but it does sound like a fun and different thing to play.

Why did only some of the classes get legendaries and not all ? Personally disappointed with the low-key C'Thun teasers and not get a single C'Thun card besides the tentacle
Same, I expected at least 1 C'Thun card for each class.
I love that Shadow Word: Forbid's art has a yeti in it. The flavor of that card is through the roof. But yeah, it sucks, only redeeming factor is Tradeable, Priest might use it in Twist just for that, but probably not in Wild with better options.
I could see them later doing something like a Priest spell that says 'set the attack of all minions to 4'. That could make this card good.
It feels designed specifically for Twist when it uses older sets. A big problem with Priest back in the day was that they had that 4 attack weakness because Shadow Word: Pain/Death was their defacto removal.
Of course, this was remedied in later sets, so in Standard and Wild it's not a notable thing anymore. But for older sets, it'll be as important as Pain/Death, especially given the number of prominent 4 attack minions that were used back then.
With the upcoming Twist, there's things like Piloted Shredder, Mechanical Yeti, new Thaurissan, Saraad, C'thun's Chosen, Steward of Darkshire, Drakonid Operative, Azure Drake, Twilight Drake and Dark Iron Dwarf that could see some good amount of play.
It's funny they brought back so many keywords like Echo, Inspire and Adapt, but didn´t use Recruit for Valstann :(

The menagerie cards are not bad in battlegrounds. What are you talking about?
God I so wished Dragonpally or Priest was a thing again in Wild but the new cards seem all too slow...for wild you just need 1-3 drop cards that keep aggro at bay and especially in dragon decks where you dont run too many spells by nature (as you wanna have many dragons in hand that are affected by all your discounts and buffs) we really needed cheap aoe dmg dragons. Maybe smth like Hollow Hound as a 1 Mana 1/1 even without lifesteal and just rush+cleave? That could be so good alone vs several boards (popping d-shields, the Hunter 4/1s) and with hand or board buffs it could get really good.
Maybe a future expansion will have a legendary location for each class and this is a sneak peak
It'd be really lame for legendary locations to be announced and them be cards we've already seen/played. Ruins spoiler season and kills excitement, so I doubt it

If you mean Orion, that would be a 10 Mana play then unless you have Orion+Secrets out already but by then Secret Mage usually has won the game anyway if the Secret you have protects Orion.
@@Devilfish6666 so what if its a 10 mana play. Both cards are quite flexible independently, probably run them both in the same deck anyway, so if you end up on 10 mana with those two in your hand, go have some fun.
@@XoIoRouge Secret Mage is an aggro only deck? Which either wins turn 5-7 or dies? An Orion play on turn 10 wont be enough vs real control decks.

Honestly: Jade Telegram looks like something that might be played even outside Jade. 3-mana 1/1, Battlecry: shuffle a card in your oppoents hand into their deck isn't all that bad.

Rat Sensei is just Splinter, and he makes the 4 Ninja Turtles... which is amazing. 10/10 flavor.
