damn, I never thought this duck would be in a minifigure scale
I was thinking the same thing lol
00⁰
I just got mine today, it is actually surprisingly durable feeling
You live in Denmark?
@@ThePersonWhoAsked1 yup
@@flxmme5635 you are lucky man.
@@ThePersonWhoAsked1 incredibly so
"The best is not good enough" - Lego's first slogan
The fact that they made it actually work is incredible!
Since it's 3d printed, I wonder if they would ever release the CAD files for it as like a VIP reward or something
Give it a bit and someone will figure it out
@@threemar3 Not yet
That is amazing and adorable. I'm glad they have not forgotten their roots, and integrated more forms of making figures.
It's also the second 3D Printed element by LEGO, the first was an arm piece for a designers desk which came with an inside LEGO Tour set :)
I've seen that around but I had no idea it was Lego official! Pretty interesting! The functional part was a surprise to me, too.
Awww I really want it, I wish there was an stl file for it
Well now its no longer a wooden duck now its a plastic duck.
I want this so bad…
Same…
on ebay for hundreds sad
Oh this is amazing, would love to have it but the price online varies from £150 up to £500, which is not a surprise
I can't wait for all lego bricks to be 3D printed. Imagine the possibilities for new bricks and even the possibilities for recycling of materials and old bricks
I love it it’s so so cute and cool 😎
Normal people would just copy the design of the looks. Only Lego would immediately take it a step further and make it functional as well.
Oh my word people are reselling them for hundreds on ebay, checked bricklink about 250 usd
Lego’s really pushing he limits of plastic parts at this point and the amount of precision that took to manufacture must’ve been insane
This is honestly pretty good, even for 3d printing.
@@doomguy974 3d printing has much more potential than other traditional forms of cnc and molded plastic because of the ability to do stuff like this. There's no other possible way they could've achieved the mechanisms they did at that scale without 3d printing
@@CaptainNomae make 2 halves and attach them. Cheaper and faster by far.
@@doomguy974 now you have a seam and you still have the precision error but now it's not only the precision of the small parts but getting them to easily attach. It might be faster but maintenance on more machines won't be less expensive. Material cost will be either the same or the filament for printing will be cheaper in traditional fdm printing.
@@CaptainNomae for mass production, traditional injection molding is superior to 3d printing. It'll be a while before this changes, if at all. 3d printing does have advantages, but for specifically mass production other methods are far superior.
Bruh this changes the future possibilities of Lego accessories
That’s so cool definitely will be worth some money
Haven't watched you in years man, my boy grew up
They must have some crazy 3D printing tech if you barely see the "drops" they made
3D printing is not an effective way to manufacture bricks. It will only ever be low volume products
Their quality has been steadily decreasing over the years and it’s only gonna get worse. I have minifigs I have not touched since I put them together that have massive cracks up their arms and torsos.
does that duck look like a brick to you?
We can already make bricks with 3D Printers so there's a whole new category for us with 3D Printers. Maybe we can make custom bricks or maybe just extra bricks if we don't have enough
Now let’s hope they make a smooth version
This is a rare collectible that’ll skyrocket in value for some reason idk maybe
In 13 years that duck will be 100 years old 😮
I went to that LEGOLAND 5 years ago.
Its not Legoland its lego house
@@Jonathan-of3bo Oh, that building resembled one of the buildings in LEGOLAND in Billund.
I will be recreating this 3D model so people can 3D print it at home. If you pin this I can throw the link up when I’m done
O.O7
I wish I could get one!
Hey kid, ever heard of... Bricklink
@@dodolordxd I have actually thanks for reminding me!
@@thetruecroc8683 no problem
I’ll be awesome if they release the files for those of us that have printers print one
200+ on bricklink lol
They also include the duck in the pre-black Friday promo
Man, this’ll have to be much rarer December 1st, let alone ten years from now.
Already 200$ on bricklink😢
*cough cough* we've had way more than 2 sets with the wooden duck as a LEGO model, usually in minifig scale.
That’s a game changer!
If lego will ever get a logo, I bet that it'll be the duck. By the way, they should try out creating lego sets attributing their history.
That’s amazing
Ok, I gotta find someone who made this so I can print my own.
its a lego, and its a duck in minifig scale. Oooo what could be more interesting? it has a mechanism.....
It’s only a mater of time befog they make 3d printed so good the make Lego sets
I dint know this existed but I’m really into lego
Forget the fact there’s now 8 million people in earth this is actual news
I am in billund as of now and about to head to the lego house, hope they still are giving it away with the figures
It sucks because I know I'm not gonna be able to get it
Nice vid man btw I just subscribed today so you have another subscriber
Someone's going to 3d print it themselves
I went to the Lego House a few months ago and I want that duck soooooo baddddddd
But we can in theory also make it ourselves considering it’s 3d printed
Well... i guess im booking a flight
6.2k well done
I’m pretty sure it’s a duck bill not beak
I knew a guy whose been doing pattern and brick printing. He has a bunch of custom print Rock Raiders and is figuring out how to do the clear plastic for the crystals with glowing resin.
Is there another 3d printed piece?
Bro people on eBay really expecting $200 for these and they not even out of production yet
i like duck lego
i need it
Love this🙃❣❣
Where are the files. I need them.
AC-cessory ...
Well dam time to do some foreign traveling
The duck brick is real
Were can i buy one ?
The current owner of this is i think this TH-cam channel called duckbricks
They’ve been using 3D printing at Lego for years, Why are they acting like it’s new to them?
Would it be in a lego box at a lego masters place
Wow
I hate the fact this is exclusive to the LEGO house.
Soon lego will just sell stl files of sets
I hope they dont start making minifigs with 3d prints
Nooooo ill have to get one from ebay then
Max. one duck per person
Duckroll
Where is the lego house
In denmark
How do I get duck?
DUCKROLL?
Hmm bow to find put how to get to denmark in 15 minutes
I don't need to buy this from Lego. I can just go onto Thingyverse and someone should've posted the STL file. Some people are VERY good at stealing things, so it should be quite easy to find the STL file from Lego and put it online.
Didnt happen
Omg I got one
gotta eat them microplastics!
When you went to Billund a month too early
Why didnt i know about THIS Im a Lego fan and I live in Den,ark
Me with a 3D printer: 😈
no duck November for me cause im from poland🙂
Bro, i See rabit there
What's stopping me from printing one?
Not having the file. I cannot find it anywhere
Did he say beland ☠️
Ducky
The sets look better than the mini figure
Me paying 100 for it in a few months on ebay 💀
I picked up 10 of those in Lego house and sold them all for €250 so 100 isnt a bad deal its now worth way more
And I can't get one lmao 🤣
Hmmm just give me the stl scan files
I bought 1000 of them lol
Quack
i live in dannmark so jay
And it's $100
**snore** mimimimimimimi
Bruh im living at the border betwen Germany and Denmark

Billund is pronounced "Bee-lund" not "bill-ind"
Neat
