Trish Honey Hi Trish, that is not at all what is being suggested. The gear is for the safety and protection of the worker. Much like builders would wear hard hats... Even organic farmers use pesticides. South African farmers follow strict rules about *when* and *how* to spray. After a certain period the fruit is perfectly safe to eat (this is backed up by strict quality control inspections).

The head to toe coats mask, everything else, suggest it’s not safe to eat the produce of the trees, yuk. Go organic please
