I'll be honest, I had forgotton about Tecmo World Wrestling. Whilst I don't like the fact you cannot see the whole ring at once. it has to change screen to go out the ring and the screen size is rubbish in terms of playable area, it has a far better move variety and animations, feels far more lively with cheering fans and has the commentator going nuts too!
I have played the NES version of this, which has a slightly different roster of Wrestlers, and it was a product of it's time. Certainly no the best out there. I also have this for Game Gear.
*Who's your favourite wrestler on Steel Cage Challenge?*
I think the only 8-bit Wrestling game I spent any amount of time on was the "A winner is you!" one on the NES.
First time seeing this being played... Graphically not as bad as I thought it would be 😉😉
It looks half decent to be honest....but there isn't much else to it! 😂
Awesome video man give you a like and full watch time keep it up
@@AlecTheCanadianGamer cheers buddy!
Hi, great video I loved this game
@@Silentpeakgaming awesome, thanks!
I didn't even know the Sega Master sytem was still around in 1993. Nobody I knew had it then.
@@jamesmuller1481 we all did in England! 😂
It was popular all over europe. Same with megadrive
WCW for the NES was the best wrestling game for an 8bit console.
@@CEEPMDEE I need to give that one a go!
Tecmo World Wrestling is the best looking 8bit wrestling game by a huge margin

I always thought the move at 3:53 just looked like a botch. Pick them up and just drop them with no control/protection :D
Apparently it's a powerslam......lol 😂

@@SPac316 I think the Master System version had the better wrestlers on personally!
