looking at upgrading to this roaster. Does this roaster plug into a standard outlet or does it need a dedicated 20 amp circuit. thanks for the video well done.

The roaster needs a dedicated 20-amp circuit. with nothing else plugged into it while using, or you will pop the breaker

@@Mzedith thank you. in my roasting space i have a 20 amp breaker in the panel box. however the previous homeowner wired multiple receptacles so it is still 20 amps but with multiple receptacles. Could i use this roaster and just not plug anything into the other receptacles? I have also been told that i would have to truly run a separate wire and 20 amp breaker from panel box to a 20 amp receptacle for the roaster. Did you have to do that to be able to use this machine? That is quite an expense from what i have found in my research and has made me think the person suggesting this is looking to make money off of me lol. i’m starting a very small roasting business and saw the M2 didn’t need anything special but thought maybe that would be a little small to get started. i am only supplying about 20 lbs a month or so right now and not planning on it being a full time job yet.

@@jestonhopper5137 I did install a dedicated 20amp circuit for my roaster. But you can write Barrett @kaleidoroasters regarding your concern at sales@espressooutlet.net , he is an electrical engineer. the M6 might be the way to go for you. but both are very capable.

I spoke with their rep and they strongly suggest 220v 110v often trips breakers and doesnt run efficiently.

Trial by fire ...In my M10 if I started at 80% I will cremate the Ethiopian in less than 3 min... (450g 180 charge) Maybe 220V as opposed to 110V ?

Every roaster seems to be different. I drop my temp to zero after charge and increase it after TP. This roast is a bit off since I had it on auto-roast. I now have an M6, and i can't use those higher temps.
