- We bought a Kampa Dometic Grande 390 all season last year.
We also purchased the left & right extensions. This Vlog shows us putting up and taking down the Awning and using one of the extensions. Also showcased are some of the Extras we use like Wheel Arch Draught Excluder and Kampa Storage Skirt.

I ❤️ my 390 + Kampa. I like the music you used, Ian For The Love of Caravans used to use it on his Channel. It reminds me of the Scott & Bailey theme yet when I listen to it it’s nothing like. I’m sure some music scholar could explain why I link the two pieces of music. Thanks for sharing 👍
Hi Colin, It was only second time out with this awning although we have had a few Kampa's before this. I am very happy so far with it. The Music is just some I chose at random, from the editing software stock collection, I keep thinking about having my own Theme Tune done and having that played in the background lol. Nice one James, thanks for sharing. Funny how time lapse makes things look so easy! Lovely awning, our Isabella has similar material I believe, makes it quite heavy, but hard waring. I like the look of those wheel arch wind draft things. I'll have a look at those, thanks for supplying the link.

Thanks Graham, Yeh when I watched it back, I thought I remember it being a lot harder than that looked to get it threaded in. The bit I find difficult is where the end of the Air Pole meets the edge of the awning roof material, and it is a pain to thread and push that bit. I have an awning puller, I should really use it. I do like the awing though very happy with it, we stopped at Attwools in Gloucester on the Way back from Devon Last year they have a massive showroom and were really helpful. We compared it to the Isabelle and came close to buying, But the bill for the Kampa was large with all the extra accessories to go with it I was buying and I just new the Isabella was going to be even more by the time I had added on all the extra's The Wheel Arch Draught Skirt is great, Really Easy to Fit, does not sag works great with a normal draught skirt. solid and not expensive at all. Check them out. The Camera I used on this Vlog is the Go Pro Hero 9, Standard Lens but set to Action Mode, It is great but I am still getting to grips with this and my other camera's. Hi James great video our awning is on it’s last legs. Been looking at the 390 you have all season one. Friends had one not a all season one with the heat we are having it went of bang have you had problems with heat Roger.
Hello Roger. Thank you. No I haven't had any problems with the awning even in the south of France. Where we are right now. The All Season is harder wearing and also offers UV protection. In hot weather I only inflate to 5 PSI still stands up fine, but helps prevent the expansion problems in the heat. The problem with the all season is that it is a little heavier. If your looking search Attwools Outdoor on TH-cam. They have loads of reviews etc on the awnings. We even bought from there. Hope that helps. Happy Camping. James

Hi Kev. Thank you. Fully set up pegged down things inside etc probably aprox an hour. I like to try and get to site with enough time that we don't have to rush. I normaly do it myself with a little help from Claire while she sets up inside. Thanks for watching.

In all honesty I don't know, I think we did look about 12 months ago and could not see them in store. they are good though, lets hope thy haven't stopped producing them

What ground sheet is that you have? Does that fix into the skirt
Hi Steve, it is the Kamap Carpet we use. It dosent fix to the Skirt but has loops in the corners so it can be pegged into place. We also have the Kapma Awning footprint which is like a qround sheet that goes under the Carpet and is pegged into place. This is supposed to help reduce concentration. We only use this on Grass pitches for one or 2 nights as it will damage the grass of used for long periods. We also use it on hard standing. Hope that helps. James

Hello You will find the majority of air awnings are not sized in the same way that traditional poled awnings are. Most Air Awnings only use the flat straight part of the awning rail along the top of the caravan and don't use the bits of the awning rail that run down the front and back. Air Awnings are normally indicated by there Width with a number in the name for example Air Ace 380, which will mean it is 380cm wide and will need a straight run of awning rail about that length.
