What is being done to combat citrus greening?

I saw some greening I thought it just wasn't a fully ripe tree. They are pretty far away from greening clusters though. If they setup a line of proper protection they should overall be mostly fine.

It’s a threat but it’s one at a distance. There are some infected trees in the state along the coast and southern border counties but it’s a few trees and no constant presence of psyllids. Also citrus acres are pretty well spread out from each other right now. That will help lessen the spread into the state for some time I believe. Also we are growing mostly mandarin varieties of which several should have a little more tolerance to HLB over sweet oranges and some grapefruit that make up the bulk of acres in central and south Florida.

Boy this really isn't going to work out during the trump years. Should have built your model off organic/permaculture farming practices. you get a different labor pool. This picking is prolly going to go belly up. That or requring a lot of raises. But it's hard to do that outside of a diversified farm. where you employee people full time year long.
