It's amazing how many times you rearrange your tools down to what you favor and like to carry... it's still way heavier than you expect. Sadly I never know what kinda job I'm walking into, so I need a lot more stuff with me. Glad to see you back though.
Next you will need a minivan to keep those tools away from your house. I did the same you did, years ago. Now with all the tools acquired on 25 years, I decide to buy a minivan and order all tools in the van, and carry just hand tools to work. Then I become Electrical Inspector and just carry inspection tool and a nice set 1000v insulated kit ( Plier, side cutter, striped, Phillip #2 and slot 1/4 ) , GFCI tester and Flashlight. Great video girl, congratulations and keep ascending.
I love it. What made you want to do electrician work? I’m from California, passed the test to get into the apprenticeship and have my interview in 2 weeks. I have no construction experience. Do you have any tips for the interview process? I really want to learn this trade and don’t want to be cut because I fail my interview.
Hey! I've had lifelong back problems and it got to the point where anything would aggravate it, so I needed several months of healing. I would recommend a foot physio or personal training to help build strength and don't do anything dumb! (Especially on a ladder)
@@LexElectric I tried to reply but maybe it got deleted because it had a URL. I was just saying that it would be interesting if you did a video showing your meter closer anyway. I like multimeters and find it interesting all the different ones that are out there.
Your scaring me Lex. I'm probably moving in with my partner next year to Mt.Pleasant area. Dont know where im going to put all my sparky tools. Ive got the whole rolling packout and that's just my work tools!. Step 1 become J person, Step 2 sell your soul in the hopes of eventually scratching enough money together to buy a home as inflation and house prices keep rising to the point you hope you can retire before your 80 in the middle of nowhere. Or even worse yet Alberta -_-
Hey love the channel. Its great to see women in the construction field. One thing I suggest is get a veto pro pac bag either the XL XXL-F yes they are expensive but so worth it to keep your tools in great shape. Making a video on it soon would love for ya to watch what a fellow electrician carries.

Thanks for your support I really appreciate it! And you're so right it's always heavier than you want. In this case it's probably even overkill 😂
@@LexElectric I'll have to go thru what I carry lol

Be eager, ready to learn, and confident !
As an apprentice not wanting to get injured, I'm curious what happened and any words of advice for others?

The one I have is a cheap dinky one but I think Fluke has a pretty solid one.

That's true! Forced minimalism I guess. I wanted to work with my hands and make good $$$. Check my Q & A vid for a more in depth answer.
