When I saw Ayumi for the first time where she performed with all the other great female guitarists at 2019 NAON no YAON stage, she really impressed me with her playing. All of the girls can shred on that stage but emotional feel coming out of Ayumi's axe was exceptional.
That video of all those talented players from 2019 was the best of the different years that they did that jam . I have watched that over and over just admiring all the great playing...Marin ,Ayumi , SAKI , Yashiro , Sakura and Azu on bass , Tamu Murata on drums....everybody was great , wish more people would see that vid and the quality music all the band's make themselves..🎶🎶💓.
There is a great variety of songs on this album with some in English and some Japanese. Bridear is trying hard to appeal to a wider audience and this album is an example of that. They also look super sharp in this video.

I took a blind person's approach to this video. As they cannot see the image and not affected by the fact 5 very beautiful women are playing these instruments . I change screens and left the music running in the background My ears and heart(I believe our hearts influence our music tatse) loved what was playing. I will definitely be downloading this bands discography to my Mp3 collection and will listening to them a lot.

I remember seeing the video on the chart show Saturday afternoon playing videos on ITV. Before I got into the band later on and the videos on Friday rock show on VH1
Opening riff/closing riff is 🔥 the pre-chorus really nice then the chorus kicks in and just grabs hold and hits your brain like a train and won't let go. That breakdown is classic Bridear and then Ayumi's solo grabs a really cool key-change and then changes keys a _2nd time_ as Misaki takes over with several brief moments of pure ear-candy 🍫 and then back to that chorus resulting in a really tight and clean song overall - love it! Haru's mirrored V-bass is solid as always and Natsumi has a few less incredible fills than usual but still more than any other drummer can pull off (except maybe ...well... if you know, you know). Okay so ...Kimi. She's in top form here (and shoutout to all the girls outfits - especially Misaki's studded necklace) but Kimi looks great moves great sings great and best of all the navel stud-loop stays down instead of popping up (a little Members-Only inside joke lol) Seriously though the lyrics are uplifting and aside from a couple trademark awkward English translations are perfectly delivered in the exact way that hits me in my heart and my soul at the same time. Literally looped this 50+ times for the past 6 hours or so ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 Great job Bridear and especially Ayumi 😍

The damage this band is doing to my finances is shocking !! What with live gigs, T-shirts and CDs there is the iTunes collection to fund.... Nemophila and Band Maid aren't helping..... thank you Covid for the spare time off work to discover Japanese rock music ! Trident are on the way up too !

Sorry but cannot agree for myself Baryte still towers over the rest. It is just so raw and powerful newer stuff is more generic and commercial. Not that it is bad but prefer the thrash style sound more.
She's really good, I agree! The playthrough video she did really shows off how melodic her lines in this song are and she has a nicely gritty tone that sits well with the guitars.

Well, this song is not bad actually, but for me, it does not reach the songwriting quality and the musicality of Brave New World Revisited, Ghoul or the older Light In The Dark. On this one, Haru delivers a great bass line. 👍 However, Bridear still remains one of my favorite bands all around, with Nemophila. 🔥🔥🔥 Can't wait to listen to the upcoming album "Aegis of Athena" to discover the other titles. 🙂
A bit of a djent breakdown in the song. Good stuff. Bridear are the queens of all-girls Japanese metallic rock. The music is authentic. It is not corporate and in need of gimmicks like coplay maid costumes. Kimi has a true rock voice. Haru rocks that bass.
Had a suicidal thought and this album was playing, didn’t hear it yet. “I decided to survive” kicked in when I had the thought. Kind of cool and pretty freaky. Maybe I’ll get that as a tat in Japanese characters or something
I'm a metal fan and this is a rock song. Nevertheless, I like the song very much. Your outfit in this video is one of the best of any Japanese female band in recent years. Musicians playing music with their instruments are still the best videos.🤘
