It's got some flaws (Some of the red attacks are really poorly telegraphed and some impossible to react to.) but maaaaan I LOVE this game. I don't know if it's the "best" souls-like to me but it's damn up there. can't wait to see what else this studio puts out.
I will definitely agree with the telegraph criticism. a lot of attacks (especially fury attacks) rely too much on unnatural delays a lot like elden ring, in my opinion. That honestly part of the reason I hate the boss design in elden ring so much. But luckily in Lies of P it's not nearly as egregious.
also, frankly (for me) this is the best souls-like I've played that isn't made by fromsoft. If I hadn't known this was made by a backwater korean dev, I would have assumed fromsoft made it. what other souls-likes would you recommend?
@@synical69 I had a lot of fun with Code Vein. Now, It's not nearly as good as actual souls games or lies of P. It's very much a "love it or hate it" kinda game. but it has a special early 2000s edgy kid charm that I just loved about it.
Excellent choice of music dude!! Also the editing on this video is incredible
Fantastic work dude, I get excited anytime you pop up in my feed!

New update just changed a lot of enemy patterns and telegraphs to make them much more clear.
I love these devs
