Very cool concept and video. The track looks fun! Is there any way to get a little more light on the cars when you introduce them. It would be nice to see the individual paint and decal schemes on the car a little better.
1] how much did this cost to make ? 2] can you still deluxe race car sets these days ? where at ? 3] is TYCO still in business ? 4] does this set have full sound effects too ?
Hi it is a MDF wood track I routed myself and then copper taped the lanes here in Kelowna, BC. No sound effects other than the Race Coordinator race software making a sound as the cars pass the line each lap. Tyco, I’m not sure….they are involved with HO scale and I’m exclusively 1-32 scale. Thanks!
Fun watching you run laps but how is this a race with one person? I'd buy comparison of the individual cars ability especially as same driver, but hardly a race

that car with the brass custom chassis was super quiet and smooth
that 2nd car sound smooth as glass...its cool how you handle and big bottom curve like its magnetized !
the3 4th car...the NSR Merc...butt swings out a lot...I wonder if its the tires ?

There is an app called LapTracker that I use on an old iPad, it works pretty well and can handle up-to four lanes.
I use Race Coordinator, it is a free download. The author does request a small donation, details on the website. Thanks!

Where do you buy your copper tape for the track build? No sources - that I can find - in the UK.
I bought my copper tape at a local glass shop that supplies stained glass. Seems like copper tape and stained glass go hand in hand.

It's not a race. This is just the qualifying to see which order to race the cars, fast with fast, slow with slow.
Yup like Paul said. The race was afterwards with drivers.
