I think a good rule for 2023 would be: You can't use "ghost runners" if you have other players present at the game. It adds more movement and excitement to the game and would add some strategy to who is on the bench..... Also increases chances of tag outs, etc.
They also need to increase the size of the field and move back the fence. So many tiny flyballs that the batter didn't get all of go over but they can still obviously hit massive HRs to where moving the fence back wouldn't be a big deal. I think this would make HRs less common but infield groundouts more common and extra base hits more common as well

I'm still no closer to making a prediction for world series winner. All 6 teams have a chance. Some analysis on the year end stats: 1. The Red Baron won the pitching triple crown. Most wins, best ERA, and most Ks. He tied with Knorp with 76 but pitched 1.1 fewer innings so his K rate is better. (edit: Robles 1 more win) 2. Robles was in his own tier offensively. His pitching was good, not great. I think Davenport is as good or better of a pitcher than Robles going into the playoffs. 3. Just like in the majors, there are some guys who just can't keep up and need to be either cut or sent to the minors. The year end stats make that clear who they are. Nothing against them. Its a tough league. 4. Statistically, the Wildcats are the WS favorite going into the playoffs. 3 top tier hitters and 2 top tier pitchers. All killa, no filla.

Dan tips his pitches on the drop ball pretty hard core and he got punished on that grand slam. The wind up for the drop ball is completely different from his other pitches. Also, Landon’s stuff is straight up nasty. Adding Landon to Dallas and Dan gives the Eagles an amazing pitching rotation.

That last game was a great win for the eagles even though losing the series. Giving the eagles a chance to see Landon showcase his talent on the mound and I felt he did just that. Looking good to have another arm going into the postseason. Diversify pitching staff could be a key element for the eagles this postseason. But who knows they may just get Knorped!
Despite losing game 3, this series win should help the Preds carry some solid momentum into the postseason. Mallards vs Preds in the World Series will be what I’m rooting for.
When the preds get the bats going like they did in the first 2 games they will be hard to beat, especially with Kracht on the mound. I feel like the playoffs this year is so deep in terms of talented teams that even the 3 seeds could win it all and people wouldn't be surprised.
