Your instructionals are great; I have to ask though, what is the reason for doing this rather than just a regular tack?

      Thomasuki267 thank you.
there are a few reasons for this tack.
      1. just to show off
      2. learn a new skill and challenge your ability
      3. as pre training for other moves that use the same or similar skill

Thanks; I'll go for #1. I just didn't know if there's a situation I should be applying this routinely or not.

Hi! Great videos! I see your harness lines are always falling down/hanging down and stays there. My harness lines always stands out in a 45degree angle, and I often accidentally hook in when flipping the rig. No matter how hard I tighten them to the boom.
What harness lines are you using? Or do you have a tip to prevent the accidental hooking in thing I got going on?
    Regards

Thanks for the positive feedback on the videos.
I use DaKine harness lines. My boom is a super skinny Severne Enigma so to stop the lines twisting up I put a bike inner tube around the boom where the lines will go. This helps the lines to grip and stay in place.
If you are hooking in by accident this usually means that you are too close to the sail or bending the arms too much. And I would recommend trying to keep your arms more extended and away from your body when you flip the rig.
Sometimes though you might need to get close to the sails in moves but still not hook in.
I use elastic bungee rope around the middle of the lines to make the loop smaller and harder to hook in to. This stops me doing it by accident when I'm freestyling. But beware it is harder to hook in if you are not used to it.
      I hope this helps

Okay! I will try these tips, as well as keeping the rig further away.
      Thanks a lot!

Anja Hermanns try keeping the wind out of the sail when ducking. Throw the mast straight in to the wind or apparent wind
