I've been following you for years but the frustrating youtube algorithm stopped putting your videos up where I can see them. Imagine my happiness when I realized you're still here and throwing! I'm in year 13 of throwing and still loving it, even teaching it now and branching out into wood firing. Currently I'm on a medical pause for my wrist to heal, so I'm excited to trawl back through your videos (as you were one of my earlier online influences it makes sense to slow down further and return to my roots). I enjoy making little hand built pinch mushrooms, but I believe I'll be trying some thrown ones once I can get back on the wheel! Take care, looking forward to what you share with us next.

These would make really nice jewelry coasters
I LOVE these ❤❤
Nice work. Is it a stoneware body you use?
Nice work! 😊
Thanks! 😄
Nice
I am from India and we also work with clay. My brother makes pots.
I know this may sound like a basic question but do you need to hollow out the centre of the stem of the mushrooms? Thank you. 🎉
No need to once I turn the stem down a bit it's fine .
Anything less than an inch wide will be fine to fire as long as it's completely dry.
Thanks.
@ thank you! I’m still a bit of a novice and wasn’t sure. Love your work!
Are these mostly for decorations or do they have some other intended function? (sponge, soap rest, marmite display pedestal?)
I made 2 yesterday. The only difference, I chose to hollow the stems for even drying. Do you hollow the stems?
Friend, I also make utensils from clay.
