Most of the people in my circle are agnostic or loosely believe in a “higher power” but they shut down easily if pushed too far so I tread lightly. All I can do is pray for them. I am conflicted between wanting to go home now but so sad for everyone who will be here for the tribulation.

As "we see the day approaching"... that is the "finishing" of a verse introduced in Lk 4:18 and culminated in Isa 61:1-3... my thoughts go to, "Will I find faith when I come?". It says the shaking will be strong and "laborious" in this transition time and shift event, the Great and Gracious and Glorious Catching Away. Its a good remembrace and admonition to take heart and take courage.
Some thoughts on dates. Today (Aug 2) is the anniversary of the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait, AND it's the day Columbus set sail for the new world. - If you take Sept 23, 2017 (Rev 12 sign) and add 2520 days, it comes out to Aug 17th this year. That strikes me as fairly in the ballpark. Jan 11, 2024 (eclipse mirror image date) to Aug 17 is 219 days. Strong's Greek 219: the crowing of a rooster, the cockcrow, as a period of time, between midnight and 3 a.m. - Watching Carol Vey talk about 'Do not harm the wine and the oil', I was struck with a thought. Wine and oil only are mentioned. This made me think of the feasts. Now, after the Feast of New Oil there is a wood offering celebration, but it is not a feast and it is not mentioned in saving. It made me think 'Do not harm the wine and the oil (Feasts). In other words, despite difficulty in procuring food, let the feasts continue. Is it possible that this means the next feast will be harmed? And that would be Feast of Trumpets. Is it possible that this coming Feast of Trumpets is the 'last trump' we've been waiting for? If you recognize Oct 3 as F of T, that would make it the 7th anniversary + 10 days from the Rev 12 sign. 10 Days translates to 14,400 minutes. Looking from another angle, I believe I saw a stellar wedding sign on May 23. I pushed some numbers and found that if I add 153 days to May 23, I come to Oct 23, or Shemini Atzeret on the Heb calendar. Thinking wedding I determined that maybe Shemini Atzeret is a solemn assembly for a reason. What if this solemn assembly was a wedding? Why is there not rejoicing also on this day? Because there needs to be a consummation, and the next day proof is provided and then the people rejoice on Simchat Torah. Now, this is the wedding time, but it seems to me that we are taken up and then cleaned up. The bride has to make herself ready, and I don't think that down here is the place to do it. So what would be an appropriate time to rapture? How about Feast of Trumpets? 21 days earlier, a number of delay. Could this be the bracketing of Feast of Trumpets? Now, if I take Feast of Trumpets and add 1335 days, I come to Shavuot 2028! If New Wine is Aug 7, then New Oil should be around Sept 26. That would be a one week lead into Feast of Trumpets (conventional). Maybe New Oil is the time of the closing of the ark's hatch. New note: On Sept 22/23 the UN, in NYC, will hold a 'Summit of the Future'. This summit will be a key step forward to world government. What I find highly coincidental is that this is the 7th anniversary of the Revelation 12 sign. 10 days later it's Feast of Trumpets.
How can we take any credit for any good work we might do or for the time we spent in prayer or witnessing? Isn't it all by God's grace that we do any good work? Isn't it God who is at work in us to will and to work His good pleasure? If it is up to me to pray more or witness more, then wouldn't I get the credit? So I think we will mourn over those in the Millennium that we mentored and who follow the dragon at the end of 1000 years. That will be the time we mourn for those who showed their true colors after the dragon, Satan, is let out of the pit. May God be glorified that He saves those He saves!
That’s about what I am thinking as he’s speaking on regret. The cross and resurrection tell me that we won’t feel that way when we get there. I feel hurt by that actually. That’s the last thing Jesus wants us to feel. I do love a lot of what JD says, but at times every person shows the law still coming to attack their security in Christ. I’m praying for all who’ve heard that. I so hope they don’t believe that they’ll regret what they didn’t do enough of when they are with Jesus. How sad!

Apparently you haven't read it. Daniel 12:9 says that Daniel's words were to be "shut up and sealed until the time of the end." The Holy Spirit will clarify what these words actually signify in the time of the end.

If that's true, then an aborted baby arrives in heaven with a lot of regret because they achieved nothing, witnessed to no one, served God for Zero minutes...so I guess they will be bummed for eternity...that really doesn't sound right now does it.
