Guma is a great player, but Peyz and Aiming were clearly better this split. An argument could be made that he deserved to go in over Viper, because Viper has at times made some bad mistakes, but it would be a difficult argument given how successful HLE were.

All are saying t1 buffs this and that. But if RIOT genuinely wants them to win, they should've not removed everfrost, galeforce, crown, ludens, and radiant virtue. Faker can't play his lissandra, ryze, ahri so much because those champs really relied on those ap items.
haters will always say its t1 patch but not realizing other top teams play those champs exceptionally well too.
@@TurbatHolmes T1 is a strong team, but it has a lot of problems when it comes to dealing with champions in a variety of ways. Faker guma in particular. If T1 didn't have that problem, there wouldn't be anyone who would support him. T1 doesn't deal with champions in a variety of ways, like Gen, Blg, and Tess. The Worlds just before, when the riot buffed a champion that Faker and Guma were doing a good job of, it would push T1 back. (Faker and Guma don't handle the ad hypercarry champ very well.)

T1 is a strong team, but it has a lot of problems in dealing with champions, especially Faker guma. If T1 didn't have that problem, no one would take it seriously

It is so criminal that majority of analysts and casters voted differently but the players and coaches are voting so fucking disgusting it screw the whole vote and the worst is the fans will for sure flame those who are not voting the same as those guys. Wolf told on Monte & Wolf show that if you are not voting as everyone you will get tons of personal insults, telling to leave a country straight to death threats in DM. This happened to Atlus cuz he voted for BeryL and thereby ruining the "perfect" placing of MVPs, and this split Aux is getting those messages too cuz he voted for Pleata to be the 3rd all pro Support

I can see Riot openly pushing T1. Everyone knows that T1 is only strong when he picks up the Snowball Champion. This is something that all Lck fans can relate to. Cloudtempler commentary emphasized a lot, too. Faker Guma is poor at carrying in the second half, Faker is only good at making champ, and guma is only good at snowball champions. Riot consistently hated line swapmeta, so he kept patching it. The reason line swapmeta came out was because the bottom snowball champion was too strong. Caitlin varus is the champion at the center. It's so obvious that Riot, who hates line swap, suddenly buffs Caitlin varus. Riot's contradictory behavior. And at the same time, it seems that Faker's buffing Azir Oriana Ries, the champion who is only good at it, is pushing T1 openly. If T1 has handled various champions like Tes, Gen, Blg well, there's no room for such doubts if it showed an unshakable performance in the 2024 summer. But Faker's ability to win ad hypercarry is very serious and guma is also a one-dealer who is only good at winning snowballs.
Ryze is nothing more than a legacy pick for faker; don't be delusional. Kiin, showmaker, and bdd have all picked ryze more recently & more often than faker even has. These specific buffs aren't gonna suddenly bring ryze back onto his pick list. Same thing w/ the lissandra buffs.
Can I remind you that Riot has also nerfed many T1 champs over the last few patches? You're just seeing a couple champs & saying "100% a T1 BUFF!!".

Azir buffs gave him +1.5 health regen & +3 armor. You SERIOUSLY think that's gonna help faker win more? The fleet footwork nerf alone makes azir's laning much weaker. That is an indirect nerf to Azir (& thus faker), yet everybody seems to ignore that.
Orianna gained +5% AP damage on her Q. You honestly think that tiny bit of bonus damage in lane trading is gonna make Worlds favorable for T1? You think that tiny bit of damage is gonna change the meta & make orianna so relevant that she becomes a priority pick?

All I see are T1 buff with 5 of those champs being played by them. Guma - Caitlyn and Varus. Long time ago the Graves for Oner. Ryze for Faker. And TF for Zeus XD
