I think this soul contract never feels like it is what we want because ultimately in this life we learn that we need to love our selves first. Your soulmate also struggles with lack of self love and you don’t fill their needs either no matter how we try on both sides. The mirror effect. This is all about loving oneself and getting beyond wounds around love, understanding to love unconditionally which comes from self love first, otherwise any other love is conditional and with expectation of those conditions. Wow Gabriella, this was profoundly accurate! Scorpio and I have been in a of many cycle ups and downs, with each up not anywhere close to what we began with. Each time he ran and came back we were a little less engaged, less intimacy, and less closeness. He has told me that he didn’t understand me or the way I cared about him. I asked him if he meant loved unconditionally. He said he guessed so and that he didn’t believe that unconditional love was possible. I thought - for 2 years now- and after 2 years that he would come to see unconditional love was and is real and there for him. But no. We did have an immediate recognition the first time that our eyes met. Our inner children loved being together and our playful combined energies. Absolutely nothing that we’d ever experienced before matched this in terms of feeling meant to be. Although he was 50 yo, and previously married twice that I felt like his first love. Anyway, I have loved him in a way that I could have never imagined. And he did me to; sporadically and until he panicked and ran. He ran again and again- every time days after deep, intimate conversations on love and our feelings. He proposed on 1 knee, with tears in his eyes a few months into dating. Then disappeared 4 days later. This was our cycles. But this reading so truthfully and clearly spoke to me. I keep waiting for him to return; remembering the most beautiful and magical ups. But I now realize that I need to move on. If he chooses to do his work and come back later, so be it. But until or if then, I need to live my life and find a partner who can both give and receive love reciprocally and consistently.
