Where I live in Wisconsin we don’t see many GW’s. It’s HD country here. It’s nice to see the reviews on the GW for a change of pace. The GW’s are nice cruising machines. You’ll enjoy it. Be safe and well.

This reminds me of my old scooter that just had one gear and was super comfy to shoot around places on, except it’s a $30k space ship and you can shoot around a 600 mile area.

Funny thing about that (and I did chuckle), is that both the Goldwing and Buick are probably the best, most reliable, smartest purchases you can make. So they have that in common..
I ride a Harley with aftermarket exhaust, and believe it or not the GW sounds really healthy. There is almost zero sound from the motor, unlike Harleys, and all you get is a nice rich exhaust tone on the Wing. I’m on my fourth Harley Ultra since 1990, and the GW Tour DCT will be my next bike. Up until then, the best bike I ever owned was a 1983 Yamaha Venture Royal.
Hi Frank. DCT sounds interesting. But when you’re at slow speeds is it awkward? I’m so used to using the clutch and fanning the clutch. I’ve heard people say that it’s no problem on the Africa Twin with DCT but I think I need to demo one. Curiosity is killing me.
I have an AT with DCT. I really like it, especially in traffic. It does not stall so slow speeds are easier to me. You use rear break and throttle like a friction zone for slow speed turns.
Don't listen to the youtube guy who teaches low speed circus maneuvers because this bike is easy to ride at low speeds for everyday city riding. I love my DCT Wing, and I'll take the braking on this bike at 60mph over any Harley. My Softail pretty much has manual ABS because the brakes are so shitty. My Wing will stop much faster with just one finger on the lever.

Haha yea I still say the 300L is my favorite bike for sure and lots of video to come on it also
To cancel cruise control, you can also roll the throttle forward (decelerate motion) to the stop.

It is super quiet, The Sena doesn’t pick up the sound of the engine to good but it’s quiet anyway

I had a 85 GW1200 Goldwing and it was a good bike. This 2023 DCT is really awesome

Oh yea they have a huge difference. And when it’s hot you can just fold them back and they put a lot of sore on you.
