Warp drop is an exploit...BUT lousy "pathing" is a game feature.

We keep getting all these 'great' updates and patches, and yet pathing is still a lame duck

I saw a video Shadow Reapers vs FaF, they did the warp drop and im so confused how did they do it, tysm for explaining it!

Good old ghost platforms. Use them quite a lot to save AP. Good as staging points but also great for saving a bit of AP when you need to move between operations. OP to OP movement is 20. But a OP to Base OP(Own Base/Outpost/Mining Platform)/ a Base OP to OP is only 5. So it's actually cheaper in AP to build a ghost OP for 5 AP, transfer to it for 5 AP and then transfer out of it for 5 AP for a total of 15 AP than to just transfer from 1 OP circle to another OP circle which is 20. Mostly used when attacking enemy hives when your 6 OP circle OP can't reach new enemies.
Ah I see others have figured out the warp drop! We've been using it for a while and it confuses anyone who doesn't know about it lol
There are alot of tricks out there. Fortunately it typically only takes us seeing it once before we understand how it's done.

Idk if this is common knowledge, but did you know you can dock on depleted nodes and still recieve the bonuses

My union been using this tactic for 3 phases now. tactic is really complex and there are so many ways to screw it up which ends up hurting you more then those you are using it against unless you and your union really know what you are doing and how to perform it correctly with minimal margine of error.
Hotdrop is a term from Eve Online, similar circumstances I guess.

I've known these tactics for a long time. Just never got round to making the video, saw cerberus using them last server. I've used them 4 servers ago when testing. They're nothing new or special from my point of view.
I wonder how warp drops will work with an org operation with it having a larger area

I mean... They're have to entirely change how construction works in the game to patch it. Considering pathing is way more game breaking and has remained a mess since June last year, it's really unlikely that the devs will fix pathing - or ghost operations, or warp drops.
Warp drops have been used for at least five straight seasons - I saw a gif of how to do it back in October of 2021. It's not an exploit, imo, because the indifference of the devs to the existence of both warp drops and ghost platforms tells me that they're an intended part of gameplay.
I don't see warp drop as an exploit at all. It's the coolest thing in this game. It's very hard to do, and requires good coordination, precision, teamwork. You should see what a warp drop looks like from 20 fleets or more ... beautiful. However, in pvp, warp drop can be easily annihilated by destroying the platform/outpost by active players.
Yeah but by definition it is an exploit. I think it's a great tactic and strategy, I'd like to see the devs leave it in.
we just used warp drop on a enemy hive...they saw the outpost,they destroyed,but we had time to get to their hive since we were close.
@@ZzDeathImpactzZ In video games, an exploit is the use of a bug or glitches, game system, rates, hit boxes, speed or level design etc to gain an advantage. See that bit there that says game systems, well dropping out of warp is a game system, forcing your own platform destruction to force the warp drop is therefore an exploit of the game system as it is not intended use. Very simple really.

Wrap drop is a great way to break blockade, minimize lost. All fleet drops into the blockade at once forcing mostly 1v1 fight.

@@royhuang9715 not necessarily, people without the cv3k or crux may be forced to use it. But in general, yeah you only see mega whales running em.
@@royhuang9715 I have 3 accounts on the same server. The 1 with the solar whale only has 2 decent vettes to use, and the Jaeger cruiser class carrier
If you're doing group warp drop. That means the platform you need to use should be fully built? Then that means you need to time the 30 mins duration to cancel that platform to your guys being over blockades and stuff?
This changed from when I made this video. Not so many use warp drops now because you have to have the outpost fully built and cancel it with a 30 min timer etc and it's far harder to set up.
@@Damphyre but can you use a base. Then relocate at the right time to drop teammates on target?

Nah no warp at all.
Fleet would have to be in a separate operation just outside the ghost plat
You can use a nearby OP to warp, but if you warp to recon in an OP that overlaps the Ghost Op you don't save AP unless moving from your own territory first. This is mostly useful for moving within hostile hives, as it lets you reset your OPs and move between enemy buildings cheaply.

Hey can u help me to retrieve my acc? Cause i delete it one time then after a month when i open it there's two agreement and I'll wait some 300hrs :((
yeah just log into whatever account you have logged into previously it should be there. If its in the hub you will need to choose a new agreement to get into a new server, as that is how the game works, you have servers that last X time then you go to the hub and choose a new server and go into the next server, you keep blueprints etc between all servers and some blueprints can only be aquired in certain servers.

I won't close the video as you put it. At the moment theres multiple unions already with this knowledge. Now you have this knowledge you have no disadvantage. By closing it then other people can't learn this knowledge and it creates an uneven playing field. The devs watch my content if they choose to change this or not is up to them.
